  • The Ros | Kingdom of Simul

The mysterious springs of The Ros. Many seek it out...and many are disappointed. (High Fantasy Texted Based Roleplay. Join us on Discord today!) The Ros The mysterious springs of The Ros. Many seek it out...and many are disappointed. "Curative waters." or "Strange Pools." they have been called. It is a game of chance when dipping into the warm water that makes up the many springs. There are a total of seven. No one quite knows which does what. It has been said and shown that one day, the waters of one who had healed someone of an ailment would then mentally torture the next. Or perhaps a pool that scared away the fish swimming inside could then stitch wounds mere minutes later. It all depends on the luck of the roll....quite literally. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Should your character seek out these waters, they must choose one spring at a time. Each time the waters are tested (Which must be with a part of their body), you must roll 1d20. 1-5 Negative Effect Should you roll for negative, your character will suffer the condition known throughout Simul as "Untrust". Your character will become overly paranoid at everything. They may not even try and use another pool of water to cure their original issue. They will not trust even their lover(s). This may cause them to run from anything and anyone at any given time. Stress can cause hair loss and a shrill voice at all times. This will last two weeks IC. These effects affect the entire body, whether or not you completely submerged. 6-14 Normal Waters These will do nothing other than relax you in the radiating heat. 15-20 Complete Cure Any minor issue your character ails from will be cured. Scars, disease, sanity loss, sleep deprivation, minor curses and hexes, flesh wounds, etc. More severe ailments such as cancers, disfigurement, limb loss, bone breaks etc will not be fixed. The waters can only be used once per day. Meaning, if you touch one spring, whether or not it is your whole body, you will gain nothing from any of the others until the next day. By that time...your character may be dead already. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Don't let the pools frighten you! The Ros is also one of the most beautiful natural landscapes Simul has to offer. Despite the rumors and even evidence, this has not stopped the most seasoned of travelers from making the hike and resting among the cabins. Updates

  • Formido Peak | Kingdom of Simul

Formido Peak A mountain range located just north of Sudbury, shrouded in mystery and... mayhem? Formido Peak is one of the smallest mountain ranges that Simul has to offer. It is also one of the least visited locations in the kingdom. For what, you may ask? The common knowledge of who and what have made the peaks their homes. Deep within the darkest crevices Formido has to offer lies only one entrance to one of the most demented locations in all of Simul. Though it is a city, it is not mapped. For, if you become one of them, you keep their secrets. These secrets envelope their lust to rid Simul, and all of existence, of magic. 'The root of evil.' Supernatural and unnatural abilities that should have never come to be. With one church they use to recruit more of like thinkers ( Benitioite Church ), the rest of them stay in the deepest cave they could hollow out in order to keep to themselves. Outsiders are rarely welcomed, unless, of course, their pockets are heavy. Still, do not expect to be able to coheres the citizens of Formido. You may just wind up their next experiment. Keep in mind: Once entering even the vicinity of the mountain range, anyone with magic, mental, physical, or supernatural abilities will find themselves just as normal as an average human until they, once more, leave the peaks....And since the fall of Timberholde...the next tech doesn't seem to work their either. • Pascha Lepus | Kingdom of Simul

Library of Shit Archived/Retired Pascha Lepus Pascha Lepus This event will be starting 3-1-2020 The land has begun to warm. The snow, though still abundant, has started to diminish around the edges. The sun has made itself known. The citizens of Simul have begun to look forward to the Festival of the Rising Sun. A time where people come together and share their bounties, feeding the hungry and replenishing stamina for the next year. This year, however, was not the year for two travelers in particular... What a lovely day it was. The lovers, Jan and Morris decided to take a walk around the sands surrounding their home on the outskirts of Harena. With the weather warming up, they chose to have a little picnic in the calm sands before the cool of night washed over. After finding a little lovely and un-shaded spot in the desert, the two set up and had their way with their overfilled basket of goodies. Once they were both fat and happy, eyes closed and relaxed, a hefty nap ensued. Only to be interrupted by the most unlikely of suspects. The shadow engulfed them both. Dark enough to wake Jan who, in turn, woke her loving husband Morris. The two sat there in awe at the large animal, not really sure of what to do. It was Jan who made the first move. It was only a rabbit after all. A...twenty story tall rabbit. Fur that looked soft and inviting. A wiggling nose that sniffed the area for any left overs. A fuzzy tail that flicked every so often. Nothing to be frightened of...right? Oh, how she was wrong. One moment, the couple was looking upon the largest and possibly the most adorable, giant rabbit they had ever seen. The next, the beast reared up on its hind legs and let out a screech that could have shattered glass. Jan suffered the most; her ears gushing blood from punctured drums. Morris, however, was already covering his ears by the time the sound erupted in totality. After shaking off his fright, Morris stood and rushed to his wife who was silently screaming while examining her then blood covered hands. The two tucked tail and ran back to their city... Word spread fast. Now, there is a bounty. Only the best of the best have been called forth to defeat this "pretty" monster. • Gao Shan | Kingdom of Simul

Library of Shit Category Gao Shan Gao Shan Heims 14, 10,017 BREAKING NEWS (Taken from Simul Quarterly) As someone who is magical, I find myself very concerned with the recent breaking stories we have had to cover here at Coexisting Connections. But it is my duty to keep the people of Simul informed, and I will always keep that promise. Less than 24 hours ago, it was brought to our attention that there was a murder in Gao Shan. 32 year old Yang Da of Gao Shan was murdered in his back garden. According to GSP, Yang was shoveling a path to his back shed when he was attacked. Witnesses stated they they had heard the screams of the young man. One neighbor said they had rushed outside and saw Yang being attacked by an unnamed assailant dressed in dark robes that masked their face. However, it was also reported that the attacker had used a fire magic. "All I saw was fire coming from their hands while they punched and kicked Mr. Da. I tried to climb the gate, but I was too late. The murderer sprouted wings and disappeared into the sky!" GSP ask for the people to keep a vigilant stance and report anything suspect. Our condolences go out to Yang's family. This is Flynn, signing off. Send Send Send Send No Updates Yet Most Recent Update None yet Views Back to Top
