- Pulchra Viridi | Kingdom of Simul
Pulchra Viridi On your travels eastward out of Sterilis, you will eventually find yourself smacked by the sight of lush green. It may be a beautiful jungle like area, however, none but the brave have made their home inside. While traversing through the gorgeous trunks and humid air, even the most absent minded could easily locate the sturdy homes built by the aforementioned. Since the area is so dense, most who have attempted to live in the jungle have found they must share the space with the local wild life contained. Pulchra Viridi is a sight to see, just keep in mind that even the most seasoned of travelers make sure to pack appropriately. The land is not dangerous, per say, however, it is very easy to get lost in the thick. Those brave people who have made the dense wood their home are always around the corner willing to give directions. Updates

In the year 9012, the landscape changed. Color blotched the earth. Trees provided shade. Water filled the rivers. Many different biomes came together to create something....beautiful. Life took a breath. Some say it was the gods converging, giving those that grieved something beautiful to look at. Some say it was the dead themselves; taking the opportunity they receive, once per year, to plant a lush and beautiful forest. No one knows the real truth. They can only relish in the beauty that is Tranquillum. Updates

Buried just a few feet under the ground, Demruk's Balls of Fire smith is known for its well made armor. Despite him looking to be one for weapons, he is much better at the armor portion. Not to say his weapons don't hold up! He can even enchant them for ya. A fiery sting? He has got that. Icy shields? Hell yeah. Just ask! He can imbue almost any element onto your item. It may not be anything noteworthy, but it can help in a pinch. The Pig's Nose A butcher’s shop run by an unexpectedly thin and lanky man named Quinn, who always seems to have scared eyes. How he feels about living in a butcher’s shop is yet to be determined but no one feels comfortable enough to ask. Every single guard in the prison is well-equipped to deal with magic, and every cell is lined with anti-magic runes. Helen's Heals Sudbury is a very widely known town. A lot of magical energies. Schools for mages. Libraries full of history on the subject. - Lake Torra | Kingdom of Simul
Lake Torra Lake Torra is located just outside of the Southern Forest and about day's walk from Mary's Tavern. It has rather sandy beaches for a lake surrounded by trees. The lake is quite sizable as well, being miles upon miles in diameter. The waters are crystal clear and it is a very popular sight for weary travelers to camp. It wouldn't be a surprise to find small homes nestled in the surrounding forest either. The lake is beautiful all year round, attracting many to paint art of its water and scenery. Updates

- BREAKING NEWS (Arbrestor) | Kingdom of Simul
Library of Shit Category BREAKING NEWS (Arbrestor) BREAKING NEWS (Arbrestor) Panic on the northern coast this morning, dear Simul. News coming out of Arbrestor is haunting. According to authorities, during the early morning hours, before sunrise, a group of ten or more assailants descended upon the docks that provide great resource to our kingdom. What seemed to be a fair amount of tourists quickly turned into a horrific display of fire and acid type magics. Some witnesses that survived reported seeing a line of people taking steps in tandem toward the docks, aiming for where the most ships were housed before eruptions of flames and some sort of caustic mist. From what I could decipher from the reports given, these people appeared to be magics of some sort, robed in cloth that is eerily close to the description of the other attacks of late. Unfortunately, there are not description of the faces, only the numbers and the robes. As of this afternoon, it has been reported that there are 56 injured, 13 dead and over 40 still missing. The King, Alfred Fortescue, has put out a statement: "Dear Citizens Of Simul, The news of yet another tragedy in our kingdom brings me more than just sadness. As your king, it is my job to make sure you are all safe, sound, and healthy. I am doing my best to make sure these things stay true til the end of my time and another takes my place. I am sending aide in the form of money, food, and people to every area that has been affected. We are organizing forces to also aide in security in our most vulnerable cities and towns. If you have been affected by hardship, please reach out to the incoming forces and you will be helped in any way we can. Please, stay safe Simul. We WILL overcome this. We WILL defeat this evil." Not only was the ship burned to ashes, but the dock in which it was parked. Unfortunately, the owner, Warren Thule, was killed in the incident, alongside his wife and four children. It has also been clarified that this group of murderers did so with the use of fire magic. One witness overheard the spells being spoken by one perpetrator, while the rest were, allegedly, standing around and helping fuel the aforementioned attack. It is not clear if local authorities have caught any of the suspects, but the good people of Dry Gulch have been preparing for a witch hunt....This does not sound good, people of Simul. - Oak Silva | Kingdom of Simul
Oak Silva Deep within the Southern Forest lies a hidden gem. Oak Silva is a village among the trees! Generally a very quiet place despite being a few day's travel or so to Vex, Oak Silva is rather serene and silent. Many magical beings such as Fae, Changelings, and Mages have made this city their home. Home to many, just as the rest of Simul, you can find peace and welcoming arms. Or wings. Or fuzzy paws. In other words, be prepared to see all sorts of forest dwelling creatures and people here. None are turned away. Unless, of course, they are trouble makers. The city's Constables make sure that the unwalled city stays a safe haven for those within. Year Incorporated: 272 Population: Approximately 16,000 Human: 45% Elven: 22% Dwarven: 10% Other: 23% Magically Inclined: Approximately 36% Updates Book Mark The Book Mark, located in the beautiful forest City of Oak Silva, holds some of the oldest mage written literature. It is not exactly the biggest library in Simul, but it hold just as much valuable information, if not more, than the rest. Most magic wielders tend to make their way toward Sudbury, but Oak Silva is a treasure trove of information! The main owner, Tasach, a high elf, is always willing to help you find just what you are looking for. Sarah The Sage One of the oldest known Sages in Simul, Sarah has a reputation of also being one of the best healers and midwives in the land. She is highly sought after for expectant mothers and fathers. Especially since her mortality rate is nearly zero. Be prepared when walking into Sarah's home. It is MUCH bigger and regal on the inside. The Well The Well is a jail maintained by the denizens of Oak Silva that is named for the fact that it is underground, accessed through a well-like staircase in the middle of town. It is here where the occasional forest creature that gets too rough and tumbly is kept, as well as visitors to the town who violate the local laws. The entrance to the Well is guarded day and night by powerful forest creatures. The jailer is a mysterious elf named Seth the Silent, who often captures criminals himself to lock them up, said to be quiet as a mouse. Fairly Famished A tavern run by one of the local fairies, Fairly Famished is a quiet little tavern with nature-themed decoration. With the help of her bear bouncer Borgis, the owner, Salindria, makes sure everyone coming in leaves with a full belly and a happy heart. It is rumored that she often sprinkles fairy dust into the ale she provides for some extra kick. Beararmed Butchers A butcher shop run by a bear of a man, rumored to be half-bear, even, named Oward the Strong. He provides quality meat and even helps out with heavy lifting around time on his time off. Much of the meat he provides comes from some of the bigger, scarier beasts from around the woods, so his meat is often tough, chewy, and carries the taste of something well-earned. Enchanting Elixers He may be old, but Whulgac is a very experienced potion maker. Often mistaken for a full blown alchemist due to his wide array of concoctions, he never corrects these assumptions. Enchanting Elixers is the most popular potion shop in all of Oak Silva, and for good reason. Menu Here Fairy Grotto The Fairy Grotto is a small park located in Oak Silva. It is so-named for the fact that it is home to several fairy glades, surrounded by dense trees despite the small space. Fairies, as one might expect, often gather here, as do people performing rituals to honor nature. One such owns the gardens. Her name is Kenzie and she is a normal human sized fairy. Ask her about her wings sometime. She could go on for HOURS. Milly's Oven A bakery run by a woman named Milly. She is known for being a kind and endearing woman, a mother of three and a widow. She employs small animals to help her bake, though makes sure that everything still remains sanitary. Smelting Pot A blacksmith based in a tree? Absolutely! Nothing will stop this crazy little elf from making the best made weapons and armor in Oak Silva. You could tell by just looking at her that Elbareth is a bubbly and quite insane little woman. She can still make you a sword with the best of them! All in the forge she has inside of her tree home. Two rooms for twice the work. If you can't find her in one, you will definitely find her in the other. Buzzing around like a fairy on caffeine. Don't worry, it has only caught fire once....
- SkyHaven | Kingdom of Simul
SkyHaven Taking over for its late sister city, Wish Well, many traders, farmers and others do business in SkyHaven. Most people seek land nearby as the soil is rich and the weather is fair year round. Surrounded by the natural beauty of mountains and lush prairies, Sky Haven is among the top destinations for settling. The people of SkyHaven are naturally good. Everyone knows everybody and no one ever seems to go hungry. Wary travelers are housed and there are plenty of good job opportunities. There are large taverns, a couple smaller pubs, butchers, bakeries, blacksmiths, and even libraries. The schools are rich with knowledge. SkyHaven makes a great place to raise a family! The night she saved an expectant mother from certain death by performing secret magic only her people used to practice. What was it, you ask? No one will ever know. The end. Good heals. Serenity's home is very similar in interior to a tavern. Homey feel. Warm and cozy. Still, lots of rooms for lots of patients. Benitoite Church "Father, please forgive me for my sins... for if you don't... I will be d e s t r o y e d..." The Benitoite Church, located in the outskirts of Skyhaven, is a... horrible place. Their beliefs are based solely off the fact that all life other than that of the humans should be condemned to a fiery death in the deepest pits of all the hells. Humans, they believe, are the superior species, and anything other than that, they refer to as, "Sub-human." Every day, the masses gather for sermons of their beloved priest. These sermons consist mostly of the priest damning the innocent, expressing how "The time is now, brethren! We will rise above all beasts polluting Simul as we know it!" In his raspy, cold voice. This priest, known only as Ferren, holds... immeasurable power over the worshiping humans, it is by request of their "god" that he regularly search the masses for signs of any undesirable subhuman traits. He says, "The gods speak through me. I am your holy compass; converse or perish..." Any of these "afflicted" humans would be.... "cleansed"... It is a gruesome process.. All the cleansed have never be the same again. These poor humans believe that, once joining the Benitoite church, they would escape a painful death with the "damned" subhumans they had been brainwashed to hate. Once in too deep... y o u c a n n e v e r e s c a p e B e n e t o i t e Devil's Kneecap Welcome to The Devil's Kneecap! A popular Tavern located just outside the walls of SkyHaven. Come on down and let's get fucking drunk! Plenty of rooms to spare, this massive tavern can house up to twenty guests at a time. And even more if you chose to sleep on the floorboards. Fights break out often. What can we say? The booze tends to do most of the talking. Grace Clinic The largest hospital in Skyhaven, the owner of Grace Clinic, Kristoph, has a massive staff of not only holistic and natural healers, but a powerful group of arch mages to help treat even the worst of ailments. Though the price is steep, it is worth it. Poisons, plagues and the like can be treated. Breathing Fire Just on the outer edge of Skyhaven, you will find one of the most popular blacksmiths in town. This is Steelbeard. As you will notice, he doesn't have a beard. Legend says he sacrificed the ability to grow a full beard to be able to make amazing smiths. Armor and weapons alike that come from Breathing Fire take well to enchantments, though Steelbeard himself cannot imbue. Paradise A bakery run by a woman named Carla, who is known for her excellent breads and runs the store along with her husband, Manny. The husband and wife couple are beloved by the people of the town, known for donating portions of their profits from their delicious baked goods to those in need. Little Land A rather small but well-tended community garden run by an elf named Carrisian. Oddly enough, Carrisian used to be a pirate, but one day he encountered a patch of flowers so beautiful he sailed to Simul and settled down to start a garden. It is home to a large quantity of very rare flowers called crystallins, flowers with crystalline structures that despite it grow just like normal flowers, although they’re rather fragile. Marabell's Tavern More information HERE Blossom's Athenaeum A beautiful library held in the shopping district of Skyhaven. Though it is not nearly as big as the ones in Sudbury, it still holds much information on lots of things. All the things. Yis. Come check it out! You would be surprised! Grinding Axe A butcher’s shop run by a man who calls himself Axhand Abe, who exclusively butchers his meat using an axe. He is a strange man, and the meat doesn’t always come out exactly finely chopped, but he means well.

The owner is named Vlad the Impaler… A holdover from his time as a war general in his homeland. Nothing to be concerned about. Walking in, you will be greeted with the smell of a hard working man....well...ten of them. Though the smell is unpleasant, it is worth it. Each one has their own way of making weapons. Lisa is known for being quiet and patient, while Lisandra is known for her temper and lack of patience. The two work well together, though, despite how at odds their personalities are. One Story One Story is just that. One story of a library. Being placed in such a massive city as Timberholde, it does seem a tad out of place. Do not let its size fool you. One Story is a great library and book store. The most popular one Timberholde has to offer. There are many others, but none quite as elegant as this. The owner, Sharon, makes sure every shelf is always stocked. As a matter of fact, she loves books so much that she has an entire cellar in the building dedicated to reprints and extras just in case one goes missing. Fowl Play Fowl Play is a butcher’s shop run by a man named Fen, who really enjoys a good pheasant. He catches a lot of what he sells himself, in fact, and you’ll find no better place to get a slice of turkey or chicken than here. You’ll even find the meat of more exotic birds, though when it comes to the other meats the produce is disappointingly run of the mill.
