The mountain range to the northernmost point on the map is the Alderman Mountains. Many mystical creatures and beings come from this place. Dragons, gryphons and other large game make the mountains their home. Not a single word of complaint would come from the Dwarves of Dun'Lorn, however.

 

If you listen closely, you may hear about the tale about a wise old man who practices lost magic somewhere deep within the darkest of caves. No one has found him and lived to tell the tale. Or perhaps not at all.

 

With tops painted in white nearly all year round, the Alderman Mountains are often cold. Even in the greenest parts of the deepest valleys, most know to bundle up for a trek through.
