The Cor
Submitted by Lyanna Legend
#winged #horns #tameable #hybrid

Young Cor stand an average of 1 foot tall, mature at an average of 2 feet tall
Cor are skinned in a soft and very short fur, pink in color, hue varies
Eyes are usually unnaturally large and silver or grey in color, no pupil
Mouths are small, but make it easy for them to consume their omnivorous diet
Car had very small and soft keratin claws on all four appendages
Small, white feathered wings do not provide flight
Are usually slow, but have shown very quick movement when startled
Cor will weigh about 5 pounds at max
Most will reach death by the age of 22
Cor really have no specialized abilities with the exception of telepathy.
This telepathy is something they do not use often, and mostly only with their handler.
They can either walk on two legs or all four, but their wings are, most of the time, useless.
They often waddle, but with a quickness.
Cor are very stealthy, often hiding in combat or in tense situations.
There have been VERY rare instances where a Cor will attempt to defend their handler.
Unfortunately, Cor are soft and oblivious, making them almost too easy to capture after being tamed.
Tamed Cor tend to escape their twentieth year of life to mate and return to the land in Tranquillum.
Tranquillum appears to be the only place to find these creatures, unless tamed.
Cor are extremely loyal to one handler, even if given as a gift during their first year.
Anti-Cor
Submitted by @Lyanna Legend

Anti-Cor are exactly as their name entails; A creature that is the exact opposite of the above mentioned, adorable Cor species. Though they may look similar, they are actually not even a related species. As a matter of fact, no one is quite sure how these things came to be. Only that they are incredibly unpleasant and equally as rare.
Similar to Cor, standing at 1 foot when young and up to 2 feet when mature. Anti-Cor are cloaked in short, dense fur that is jet-black or deep crimson, with patterns that almost seem to shift in dim light. Their eyes are unnaturally large, glowing in shades of violet or dark red, with no visible pupils, giving them a perpetually menacing look. They have longer, sharper keratin claws, perfectly adapted for climbing and stealth.
Anti-Cor thrive in shadow, lurking in dark corners and shadows of the world. They move with eerie silence, their quick bursts of speed making them hard to predict. Unlike their harmless cousins, Anti-Cor have the ability to emit a psychic aura that induces feelings of dread, hopelessness, and anxiety in those nearby. This effect grows stronger with time if not counteracted, making it impossible for the afflicted to think clearly or fight back. Their telepathy is weaponized. Anti-Cor implant negative thoughts and fear, undermining their victim's confidence, slowly eroding their mental health. Once attached to a person by sinking their claws into any flesh, the bond is parasitic. An Anti-Cor feeds on the negative emotions it induces, and it is nearly impossible to remove without severe consequences.
Most Anti-Cor live between 15 and 18 years, though few have been documented to die naturally, as they often perish when removed from their host or in battle.
Removing an Anti-Cor is extremely difficult. They must be severed from their host using powerful magic or rituals involving rare materials that can only be found in the darkest of markets in Vex-Mora. Even when removed, the mental scars left by the Anti-Cor's presence often persist, requiring the victim to undergo long periods of magical or psychological rehabilitation. A rare few have been able to resist the Anti-Cor's influence, though this has been documented only in those with the presence of a bonded Cor to counteract the negative influence.
*OOC Notes:
📌Removal can only happen with the roll of a die.
📌Roll 1d20 after acquiring the 'Special Removal' item from Vex (You must roleplay your character purchasing this from Corrosive Concoctions and it can be anything you want)
📌1-15 Anti-Cor is removed and perishes
📌16-20 Anti-Cor persists and another dosage is needed. However, only one can be used per day.
The Unicorn
Submitted by @Lyanna Legend
#horse #unicorn #tameable #magical #mount #telepathic

Unicorns are closely related to the horse.
Foals are usually around three feet in height at the head while
adults can reach nearly ten feet with the exception of the horn.
Speaking of, not only do unicorns vary in natural colors,
but their 'corns' tend to take on a random rainbow of unnatural ones.
Unicorns tend to give birth in twins, but only once per lifetime.
These mystical beasts are fairly rare, but do live a healthy three
hundred years given proper care.
As stated before, unicorns are rare, unlike their horse cousins.
These animals are friendly for the most part, but very difficult to tame and create a bond.
Bonds, once made, are life long. If you choose a unicorn, be prepared for a lifelong partner.
Unicorns seem to have much more stamina and brute strength compared to other, similar species.
Depending on the color of their horn, these beasts can have an affinity for magical use with their
horn being their 'wand'.
For example: Blue horns can blast water in short bursts from their horns.
Not all unicorns have magical abilities, but all have a telepathic ability with their chosen
handler/bond partner.
Unicorns are incredibly smart and fluent in the common tongue (hence understanding the telepathic bond).
Ales AKA Pegasus
Submitted by @Lyanna Legend #tame #wild #horse #pegasus #flying #mount #expesive #rare

Within Simul, there is a beast called Ales. These horse-type creatures have also been called 'Pegasus' by citizens who have come from a place called "earth". In Simul, however, these beasts do not have the same story as the pegasus, but the same overall construction. With a massive wingspan able of flight, they also adorn a horn atop
their head that seems to be source of their magic. De-horned Ales are reduced to regular horses with flightless wings. With their beauty, they are a very popular mount choice for adventurers and the wealthy. Ales are fairly rare, making up less than 5% of Equus type beasts in the kingdom, which also make them extremely valuable and expensive. Most Ales have a celestial type of magic which include barriers, projectiles and even a type of telepathy in order to communicate with their handlers. They are very loyal to their chosen. Most people acquire these beasts from reputable breeders as taming wild Ales is nigh impossible. Tamed Ales are incredibly soft and calm creatures, with the intelligence of teenaged humanoids. They are also great with children and other animals. They can live
upwards of 600 years whether domesticated or not, and females can give birth up to 15 foal in a lifetime. Their diet consists of mostly ruffage, but meat is an important part of their nutrition.
The Dragon
Submitted by @Lyanna Legend
#dragon #reptile #tameable #dangerous

They are big.
Big ass lizards.
Pretty colorful and shit.
Some have different abilities than others and some can fly.
Why are these a thing?
Damn Simul, you scurry.
BRO, WHY ARE THEY SO BIG?
Wasn't there a dude killing these things off? The soup guy?
But for real though, dragons are pretty fuckin' cool.
I've seen some of these fuckers spew more than just fire and it seems to coincide with their coloring and where they call home.
I personally wouldn't try to tame one, but I have seen a few in my time (Mostly the small ones).
I suppose I should take more notes on individual types...huh?
The Splendor
Submitted by @Lyanna Legend
#dragon #plant #rare #aggressive

Splendor dragons are quite unique. Though they appear to made of a mix of foliage, flowers, grass, trees, and various plantlife, they are truly dragons. No one Splendor looks the same which gives them a particular rouse of beauty. They are about as rare as any other type of dragon, but their tame-ability is rather difficult. They are well known for their camouflage in forested and meadow like areas. It probably helps that they have the ability to lend energy to the growth of plants and trees from their auras. It is not widely known how this happens. They can also produce this effect by focusing their breath on their surroundings. Splendors are also a bit smaller than most dragons, only growing to be a max of 25 feet long and 9 feet at the shoulder. They can weigh up to 5 tons (6000 pounds).
Shadow Dragon
Submitted by @Lyanna Legend

Shadow Dragons are the embodiment of their namesake: Dark and shadowy
Hatching from an egg no larger than a typical ostrich egg that is purple in color,
Shadow Dragons grow to be less than twenty feet in length (Nose to Tail Tip).
A wyvren type, Shadow Dragons have no front legs, but have immaculate balance when grounded. All of these dragons adorned VERY dark scales and skin paired with piercing
red and/or purple eyes.
The particular dragons gained their name from not only their natural coloring, but their habit of making their home in shrouded and dark areas such as deep forests or hidden caves. This also aides them hide from potential poachers. They are extremely valuable due to their beauty and ability to be tamed. They are extremely dangerous, given their fire breath and strong tails and claws, but can be tamed given a significant amount of time and patience. These creatures are also extremely rare (highest numbers counted
have never been more than a hundred in the entire kingdom). In the wild, their appetite seems to be ravenous. They are omnivores, but obviously prefer meat. Their attitudes and personalities vary, but most stories tend to describe a more aggressive beast. It is also rumored that they have the capability to melt into darkness, though, this has yet to be seen or proven to this student.
Murrina
Created by @Lyanna Legend #dragon #porcelain #rare #aggressive

Graceful and eerily delicate, the Murrina is a dragon that appears to be sculpted from the finest ceramic, its body adorned with intricate floral patterns and gilded edges, though, seemingly cracked as if struck by lightning. Despite its fragile appearance, its glossy hide is nearly impervious to conventional weapons, capable of withstanding tremendous force. These beasts are known for their ethereal presence and nigh silent movements. They have adapted their quiet tendencies due to being highly sought for generations. This has also lead to their incredibly low numbers, making them one of the top ten rarest creatures inside of Simul. Legends whisper that a Murrina's fire breath is not fire, but a sparkling wind that turns anything it touches into porcelain. Murrina's can live a long life, like most dragons. Females can lay up to five eggs in a lifetime. The beautiful dragons also mate for life, which has contributed to the lack of numbers. A fully grown Murrina can reach heights of 50 feet (15.24 m) from toe to horn, and can have a wingspan of 150 feet (45.72 m). No one is sure how much they weigh, but one can easily assume they are larger than most dragon species. Murrina are not known to be tame-able, and there has yet to be one spotted as such. Their hide is incredibly valuable to the wrong crowds.

#aggressive #feline #intelligent #amazing companion

(Researchers Note- It took me forever to get this picture, my storm kitten max led me to this momma and her baby. I had to sit in the rain they created for two days before i snapped this beauty.)
Animal Name- Storm Kitten
Size- The storm kittens normal size is that of a kitten no more than three pounds. Their adult form is large enough to ride. ( More information on will be mentioned later. )
Estimated Maximum Age- Unknown. A few subjects have been documented living for more than one hundred years. Historical records have noted a few Storm Kittens have no age and are still wandering around thousands of years later. Historical records are to be ignored due to their natural inaccuracies.
Lore- The Storm Kitten is an incredibly shy animal. Sightings of this animal are incredibly rare. Those that have seen the animal always mention its beauty. All that is known beyond that is its eating habits and basic personality.
Storm kittens love anything meat related. Those lucky enough to tame one find out the hard way. It often throws anything it does not like right back at its handler. The cats intelligence makes it easy to train if it wants to be.
subjects have been shown to learn the skills needed to be a rescue type companion. Their natural abilities make this type of work easy for them.
Power/Abilities- Not all of what storm kittens can do is known. they have been shown to use a variety of water, and lightning type attacks. Wild kittens have been known to make it storm when there are no clouds in the sky. It has been noted the potency of their magic heavily depends on the animals emotional state.
Extreme sadness or pain has shown to be the trigger needed for the animal to make it rain. Anger results in more powerful attacks in general. They also have access to a adult form. when activated the storm kittens grow in size. Their end size depends on their blood lines. Most Kittens only reach two hundred pounds in their adult form. A few subjects have been seen being larger than a horse.
Researchers Notes-Storms Kittens are amazing creatures. I have heard stories of them being able to survive the harshest environments. Their ferocity in battle is not the be underestimated even with their diminutive size. I have witnessed a kitten easily kill a man while at its normal size. While in its adult form i have seen their lightning attacks destroy boulders.
The power of their water abilities is amazing as well.
There are so many stories about them helping put out forest fires, or even filling wells for those nice enough to help them. Their intelligence is something you do not see from most animals. Its almost like they know what people are thinking. I have not noticed any telepathy being performed. They are smart enough to adapt to situations much like a human would.
That includes attempting to use tools to aid itself. My experience with these creatures has impacted my life in a good way. My companion Max is a handful to deal with everyday. i would not trade it for anything in the world.
The Phoenix
Submitted by @Lyanna Legend
#phoenix #bird #tamable #fire #reborn #rare

One of the largest breed of bird in Simul, phoenix birds are a rare sight.
Younglings weigh nearly 5 pounds after hatching, and fully grown can average over a ton.
The larger they grow, the more tail feathers they possess; upwards of ten massive feathers.
Mostly orange colored, they are all individually shades with hues of yellow and gold and red. Their song can be as calm as a windy summer night to as ear piercing as nails on a chalkboard followed by a sonic boom. Adult phoenix can lives upwards of 1500 years and give birth to two babies
per decade for the latter 1000.
Kindly Kettle Kin
Submitted by @Lyanna Legend (Name created by @Spook )
#tame #expensive #sentient #teapot #wealthy #magical

As much as this writer would like to claim these little teapots are not sentient beings, I have recently
been proven wrong. These tea brewers are not exactly common in shops, and they are
rather expensive, but they are extremely popular amongst the more wealthy.
The rumor is that Kindly Kettle Kin were created by a raving wizard who was trying to fill the void
of loneliness. Giving sentience to three kettles, his home was then filled with the child-like chuckles
these creatures emit. Now-a-days, Kindly Kettles have the intelligence of a teen, and the humor
to boot! No one is quite sure how they procreate, only that they wake with another in the troop.
Most people sell their unused Kettle Kin to shops who then sell to the next home. Well...most people
look at it more like adoption. Each kettle has its own name and personality and live an average of three hundred years before closing their eyes and their silver tarnishing for the last time.
Kettle Kin are ambulatory and self sufficient; able to brew tea on their own, given it is within reach.
They are not restricted to just tea! They can brew coffee as well, or just hot water for your soup. They
have the capability to fill themselves without the need of a sink or water source, and heat it as well.
Kettle Kin do not need sustenance as they take from what is left inside. Don't shelve them for too long!
Creepy Candle Cretins
Submitted by @Lyanna Legend
#candle #sentient #tame #uncommon #wax #fire

As odd as it sounds, the Kindly Kettle Kin were not the only creations to emerge from the eccentric mind of that raving wizard. The Creepy Candle Cretins, bearing singular, watchful eyes, were reportedly the second attempt at curing his loneliness. While they may not chuckle like the Kettles, their unsettling stares and peculiar antics provide entertainment in their own right.
Standing no taller than a standard candelabra, these sentient candles shuffle about on waxy bases, their drips forming and reforming with each movement. They boast intelligence comparable to an elderly librarian—knowledgeable and wry—frequently dispensing cryptic bits of wisdom or utterly unrelated anecdotes.
Like their kettle counterparts, Candle Cretins have unique names and personalities. It is believed that they "bud" from a larger Cretin over time, forming a new waxy companion. How the budding begins is anyone's guess, as they are highly secretive about their rituals.
Cretins provide more than eerie company; they illuminate rooms with flames that never seem to melt them entirely. They require no wick replacement, instead sustaining their light through a curious magical energy fed by the ambiance of the space they occupy. Some swear that the Cretins burn brighter when surrounded by good company or intense conversation.
Few have the courage to adopt these odd beings, but for those who dare, they offer a lifetime—well, three centuries—of bizarre companionship. Should a Cretin finally dim for good, they leave behind a permanent, waxen figure in their resting place, often posed in their signature stance. A keepsake, if you will, of their peculiar presence.
Be warned, however—if a Creepy Candle Cretin catches you lying, its flame burns a vivid blue. It’s their way of saying, “Careful! I’m watching you.”
Mirthful Mirror Muse
Submitted by @Lyanna Legend

Among the wizard's peculiar creations, the Mirthful Mirror Muse is perhaps the most enigmatic. Designed during a phase of introspection, this looking glass was meant to reflect not only the physical world but the complexities of the heart and mind.
The Muse Mirrors are more common nowadays, but have a hefty price tag attached. Most are made with a large gem toward the top, giving most who look upon it the sense that it is more than just a "pretty shiny".
True to its name, the Muse speaks. Its voice is melodious, like the tinkling of chimes on a spring breeze. It does not converse in straightforward language; instead, it offers riddles, rhymes, and poetic insights. At times cryptic, at others disarmingly frank, its words seem designed to provoke thought and self-discovery. Those who seek its wisdom often leave with more questions than answers, but somehow, a little closer to understanding themselves.
The Muse is not without a sense of humor, though. Its mischievous streak shows in the occasional harmless prank—subtly altering a reflection to give someone a crown of flowers or transforming their expression into a caricatured grin.
Peculiar Pillow Pals
Submitted by @Lyanna Legend

As one of the wizard’s more tender-hearted creations, the Pillow Pals were born from a desire to provide comfort and peace in restless times. These sentient cushions are more than mere bedding—they are companions for the dreamer, guardians of restful slumber, and gentle guides through the landscapes of sleep.
Each Pillow Pal is unique, crafted with soft, plush fabric that shimmers faintly under moonlight. Their surfaces often feature dreamy patterns such as shifting stars, drifting clouds, or blooming flowers that respond subtly to the emotions of their owner.
Pillow Pals are not just passive bedtime companions. They hum soothing lullabies when held, the melodies adjusting to the rhythm of their owner’s breathing to guide them into sleep. Their voices, though wordless, carry a calming resonance that seems to quiet even the most restless minds. Some have been known to whisper gentle reassurances or bedtime stories in soft, melodic tones.
The magic of the Pillow Pals goes beyond comfort; they have the rare ability to "dream with" their owners. Upon waking, they recount snippets of the dreams they shared, often offering insight or a sense of closure to unresolved feelings. Those who bond deeply with a Pillow Pal often find their sleep enriched with vivid, serene dreams.
Though self-sufficient, the Pals delight in companionship and thrive on interaction. They adjust their fluffiness to suit their owner's preferences, tuck themselves under a head or arm at night, and are known to scoot around a bed or room seeking the coziest spot. Their only quirk? A distinct dislike for being shelved too long, as they flourish in the warmth of an owner’s care.
Subriprio Sprites
Submitted by @Lyanna Legend
#tiny #small #cute #pest #dust

As cute as they may be, Subriprio Sprites are more a nuisance than anything else. Measuring about
a millimeter in diameter, they are also extremely difficult to see and catch. Subriprio's are essentially sentient dust bunnies. Given enough time and dirt, these sprites form from discarded dust hidden in the shadows of furniture and free floating magic/mana that has been forgotten.
Though they cannot reproduce amongst themselves, all it takes is a tad more dust for them to ingest
and produce asexually. Subriprio's also tend to cause damage to several types of materials, including, but not limited to:
-Cotton
-Latex
-Nylon
-Wool
These tiny little things are often found in not only dusty areas of your home, but tend to hide in the
darkest places, such as under furniture, behind shelves, in your walls, etc. The best ways to rid your
home of these tiny terrors would be to hire an exterminator, buy yourself a magically enhanced potion, or clean your home thoroughly and hope you've gotten all the little buggers.
Hail Hare
Submitted by @Lyanna Legend
#hare #rabbit #feathered #tame #social #bunny #flying #electric

The Hail Hare is a variant of Rabbit that is born with far more special attributes, making it highly sought among exotic pet keepers. Most of it's body is covered in feathers rather than fur, and eyes
that are made of some sort of crystal type material. This does not affect their near perfect eyesight or hearing. These rodent type animals are very tame, even in the wild. They are mostly herbivores
but have been known to eat poultry or fish if needed. Hail Hares are capable of sky-walking, giving the illusion of flight. They also have a defensive mechanism in the form shocking touch. If frightened and touched, it will feel similar to being shocked by someone in wools socks.
After seeing these creatures in the wild, I am convinced they were some deity's gift to the good people. Hail Hares are plentiful in forested and meadow like areas. They roam alongside their more mainstream brethren, and some cross-breeding is expected. They are far less skittish; easily coming up to humanoids. They are also a fairly common house-pet. Most are indoor-outdoor and easily potty trained. I've noted that they grow and socialize very closely to the basic rabbit or hare, and hold the same body mass. Though they are usually used as pets, Hail hares have been known to be marketed for their meat as well. They are fairly inexpensive as either. These animals are also above average in intelligence, able to learn most commands, much like a dog. They are very sociable, needing more than one in a single home in order to obtain a healthy state.
Floral Fox
Submitted by @Lyanna Legend
#fox #floral #flower #pastel #tamable #hunted #valueable

Floral Foxes are one of the most coveted creatures in Simul. Not because they are particularly rare, but they are particularly beautiful. These foxes can live up to 45 years and females can produce 13 offspring in a lifetime. They average about 30 lbs. fully grown and measure around 40 cm at the shoulder while also being approximately 100 cm long. Most the length comes from the tails. Floral foxes are not INCREDIBLY rare, given most of them are wild and not hunted for food, but their fur is highly sought for clothing material. These canines are usually very mild in manner and will avoid most humanoids, however, they can be tamed as a house pet. This is extremely hard to do as they are not very trusting. Upon reading more into the studies done of this mythical creatures, I have come to find that they do harness some magical abilities. Not all do, but about 20% of the adult population is capable of some sort of nature magic. It has been observed that tame Floral Foxes, given enough time in an area, can help organic matter heal and grow with fervor. Another small note: They can also grow certain flowers from their skull which tend to hang around their faces like a crown.
The Fairy/Fae
Submitted by @Lyanna Legend
#fairy #fae #small #flight #flying #humanoid #magical

The fair/fae type of creature is more than just a creature. For the sake of transparency, these types of creatures are also heavily written about as they are a type that is also a race
Native to Simul. Fae have many different variants that I will note about later, more in depth. Most fae are equipped with a set of wings that are usually similar to flying insects. Such as butterflies, ladybugs, moths, etc. Some have wings akin to animals, small breed of course. Most faes also have an affinity to magic. Most seem to use mana. With an average lifespan of 1000 years, most child bearing fae can produce near 5 children per decade.
Dew Dancers AKA The Ardor
Submitted by @Lyanna Legend
#fairy #fae #intelligent #non-tame #glowing #magical

Dew Dancers are a more popular type of fairy in Simul. Not because they are extremely common, but because of what they are. These fae creatures are very small, growing usually no more than the height of a pointer finger. Dew Dancers are one of the smallest of their species. With the average intelligence of humans, they choose to live rather primitive lives among the largest of gardens and forests Simul has to offer. Most of the time, when
spotted, Dew Dancers are in flight and look nothing more than a darting, glowing orb. In flight, they illuminate into various colors that cover their actual body like some sort of camouflage. Their light diminishes immediately after landing, revealing their tiny, humanoid bodies. They do speak, but it is a language that has yet to have a common book of translation. A very secretive species, Dew Dancers often keep to themselves in their tiny cities they build themselves wherever they deem it safe enough. Most of these fairies have some sort of magical ability, but most choose not to delve into practice which has greatly affected their elemental prowess. Peaceful in nature, but not a species one can 'tame'.

(Researchers Note- The ink Fairies were all to happy to pose for these pictures.)

Name- Ink Fairies
Personality- These beings are never in a foul mood. Their excitement and happiness is infectious. They are tidy and hate when things are disorganized. If they are not playing pranks on people, or chilling in their inkpot they are cleaning.
Size- These creatures never grow larger than six inches tall. Their wingspan can be as large as twice their size
Appearance- These fairies are often colored in whatever ink they choose to inhabit. If they have not chosen an ink they are pure white with pink eyes.
Threat Level- No-Threat
Estimated Maximum Age- These fairies are immortal as long as they choose an ink to inhabit. If they never choose an ink their life expectancy is five years.
Lore- All the lore that surrounds these wonderful beings has to do with their abilities. A few scholars speculate how these strange fairies came into being. The prevailing theory is they were the byproduct of a spell gone wrong.
Power/Abilities- Ink Fairies only have three abilities that make them incredibly useful if you have a lot of paperwork to read, or write. Their first ability is to know what is written down on paper within the room they call home. This can be blocked easily enough in a variety of ways.
Their second ability is to transfer whatever they have read to their masters. All they have to do is spit an ink-like substance into someone's eyes. Once the substance is absorbed through the eyes the receiver knows everything the faerie knows.
Their final ability is to produce an infinite amount of whatever ink they inhabit.
Researchers Notes- I absolutely love these fairies. They save me so much time when doing all my paperwork. Their organizational skills are top notch as well. Once you get used to it you can find anything easily. Talking with them shows just how much they love life, nothing ever seems to shake them no matter how bad things are. Their love of pranks, and harmless mischief has caused many a prank war with anyone that has had the pleasure of interacting with them. I know they are strange but I think that is what makes them so incredible. I have actually spoken to the very first Ink Sprite, she is a delightful soul. No matter how much I ask she will never tell me how her people came into being. It is the only thing she will not tell me.

( subject of this document agreed to pose for this photo) Name- Screech
Personality- Screech is a quiet and gentle being, he just does his job and tries to stay out of the affairs of the living. Bad things tend to happen if he doesnt.
Size- 4'0"
Appearance-(See Photo)
Threat Level- Special Circumstance ( https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-6UrAUIAzk6g1XVR08ZNzHp-cRcFrUQWBuWMlQqclfQ/edit?usp=sharing
Lore- Screech is one of many being through the realms that help smooth the transition for the dead into the afterlife. His race is known by many names, the most popular are grim reapers. The shepards of the dead. Screeches job in simul is to quietly guide souls where they need to be. the place happens to be Soulstagne in Simul. It is an easy trip leaving which suits screech just fine. Occasionally he has to travel other realms. If he is doing his job everything is fine.
Its when he is not doing his job that has his kind labeled as Special Circumstance. If any reaper fails to do their job things can become cataclysmic. If even one soul escapes its fate it will start a chain reaction of survivors that require reapers to get creative. This often manifests in those that survive incredible odds to start dying in random horrible ways in a pattern. Reapers keep the balance of souls no matter what.
Powers/Abilities- It is hard to pin down just how power these beings are, they are beyond the scope of what most can comprehend. the only powers i have observed are perfect invisibility and intangibility. Its like they dont exist in anyworld yet they can influence the material plane with great ease. Screech is a nice enough subject but i am afraid to learn more of what they can do.
Researchers Notes-Screech only agreed to let me study him for a week while i was in a coma, I followed him on his daily routine and tried to remember as much as i can. He and the other reapers were quite friendly do me. they love a good joke and often let souls they like stick around longer to say goodbye to loved ones or watch their own funerals. which i always thought was weird but whatever. It didnt matter who they ushered into the after life they treated every "customer" as they called them with respect. No matter the religion they spoke them like a priest in whatever god their customers followed. they make death feel less final and alone, I would like to see screech and his friends again. Just not before i live a few more decades and die of natural causes.
Med Caps

When I first heard of these tiny little creatures and what they were used for, I almost didn't believe it.
I had to find some and see for myself. These sentient, quadrupedal mushrooms are named as such due to those who use them trying to separate feeling from FEELING, if you catch my drift. Med Caps
are a creature found in various, dense forests throughout Simul. Fairly common, they are also slow and easy to capture. These creatures are used in a variety of healing potions, salves, and dressings as their 'juice' is a natural remedy for many different ailments. As much as I would like to find the sick
mind who first thought to dry, crush and bleed these adorable little things, I do have to admit how
amazing their medicinal quality is. Growing no larger than one's thumbpad, they live in large groups
and tend to stick to more moist environments. Extremely commonly used in medicines, you'll be hard
pressed to find a selection of healing that DOESN'T involve Med Caps.
The Dinosaur
Submitted by @Lyanna Legend #dinosaur #dino #overview #lizard #scale

Dinosaurs are some of the largest land and sea creatures known to Simul. Coming in various types, some can easily be mistaken for dragons or run-of-the-mill lizards in size by comparison.
Dinosaurs lay eggs as their form of breeding. Depending on the type, they may be docile or violently feral. I will document as I find and study these very fascinating creatures. You are more likely to find texts on these animals than you are to find them roaming about the land.
Ankylosaurs
Submitted by @Lyanna Legend #dinosaur #ankylosaurus #docile #rare

Growing to about 5 and a half feet tall and around 25 feet from nose to tail tip, the ankylosaurs is a formidable size. They can weigh upwards of five tons (Ten thousand pounds). There only exists approximately 100 of these largest beasts on the continent at any given time due to the hundreds of years being hunted and poached for meat near five thousand years in Simul's history prior. The ankylosaurs has a very valuable hide that has, in the past, been used for primitive armor and meat that is high in fat and protein. Considering how slow these animals are, they were easy to hunt down, making them
a prime source of nutrition. As time went, so did their numbers, dwindling them down to near extinction, much like other dinosaurs. Luckily for them, before they were completely wiped from the planet, They were named a 'protected' type of species and now are being bred to increase their numbers while also being considered 'pets' by those who have chosen to take on take on the task of protecting them. Their breeding process from mating to hatching takes around 1 year, and they only produce upwards of 3 offspring in their (approx) 70 years of life. They are rather docile and are also omnivores, preferring ruffage to most anything else.

The first instance of these 'creatures' dates back to the recorded year 2254.
The Marmor were named after a root language meaning 'stone', mostly because of their stone like
attributes. Mostly their skin as it is hard as diamonds, but it has been said and shared that some of
them can create small digits as sharp as obsidian. These creatures are more humanoid in appearance, but have the mannerism of a feral mammal, akin to large cat species. Skittish, stealthy, fast and aggressive. Though rare, it would not be a surprise to find one or two among larger cities attempting to live a more humanoid type lifestyle. They do have the capacity to learn basic skills and communication. The Marmor tend to live near large bodies of water as their skin can dry out easily, causing issues with motion and illness. It is not well known how long these beings live, nor how they procreate, but it is rumored they do have the 'abilities' that normal humans do. Due to their high aggressiveness, it is common practice to avoid these creatures.
