  • Pulchra Viridi | Kingdom of Simul

Pulchra Viridi On your travels eastward out of Sterilis, you will eventually find yourself smacked by the sight of lush green. It may be a beautiful jungle like area, however, none but the brave have made their home inside. While traversing through the gorgeous trunks and humid air, even the most absent minded could easily locate the sturdy homes built by the aforementioned. Since the area is so dense, most who have attempted to live in the jungle have found they must share the space with the local wild life contained. Pulchra Viridi is a sight to see, just keep in mind that even the most seasoned of travelers make sure to pack appropriately. The land is not dangerous, per say, however, it is very easy to get lost in the thick. Those brave people who have made the dense wood their home are always around the corner willing to give directions. Updates

  • Curet Insula | Kingdom of Simul

Curet Insula For generations, Simulians have avoided the islands to the west of the mainland. Why? Because of the story of Reginald Harris. Reginald, as the explorer he was, found himself quite curious as to what lay on the islands. He had tried to see with his own eyes, along with magical sight offered from various mages. Despite the warning he received, Reginal Harris was a man of adventure....and adventure he did. What he told of the animalistic people of the islands is still passed as a warning today. Within the island of Curet Insula lies a people of very feral history. Throughout time, they have had no contact with people outside of their islands, and actually preferred it that way. Despite this, one of their own was curious enough to venture out to the mainland of Simul. Within months, the islands integrated into Simul and travel has become prevalent. Though, the locals of Curet Insula like to keep their primitive area as original as possible, so one will not find cities, but more small communities and tribes. All are welcomed by the 'mostly' friendly people of Curet Insula...as long as you are humble to them in return. Currently, the bridge from the mainland to the islands has been under constant attack, preventing travel on foot to and from the community. • Wish Well | Kingdom of Simul

"I saw Death. He resides in Wish Well." (High Fantasy Texted Based Roleplay. Join us on Discord today!) WishWell "I saw Death. He resides in Wish Well." "Welcome!" A word one will never hear come from the mouths of Wish Well. Never again will you be greeted by genuinely warm smiles or firm handshakes. Wish Well is no longer. It would be best to turn back now. Wish Well was the largest trading village in the kingdom. Small town mentality. No one was left behind. No one begged for money. No one was left without food. Worldwide known for hospitality and kindness to its fellow man, Wish Well was known as the pinnacle of what Simul was trying to achieve. Perfect coexisting. The night the city fell was filled with screams of terror and calls for help. All went unheard as the massacre took place. Come morning, Wish Well would be no longer. Mother Nature has since attempted to reclaim much of the terrain and buildings. She has tried, and most of the time, failed. The only sight of disturbance comes in the form of graves in the town square. Freshly dug and all marked with poorly, hand made crosses. A handful of brave souls have come and gone from the desecrated ground. Whether to try and rebuild or attempt to find items that belonged to late family members. Come morning, all would be back to the way it was the day before. Some say it is a curse upon the land. Some say it is a warning. With all of the sightings and stories, all know that the land will forever keep the image of the night of the massacre. No matter one's beliefs, all know that Wish Well should be left undisturbed. • Simul Quarterly Issue 5

Hiems 4th, 10,019 Hello again Simulians. It is I, Lucius Scarletwound, to bring you your next Simul Quarterly. We have loads to report on here at Coexisting Connections, so let's get into it. Our dear kingdom has been doing rather well the last year or so, and so, there wasn't much to report on. No news is good news, right? While the quiet settled in, Ferren has been hard at work, making sure Simul has stayed as peaceful as possible. Keeping up with routine patrols by Simul's greatest military, keeping the food supply plentiful, and even making appearances throughout the kingdom, I think we can all agree that Ferren has been a model leader. All good things must come to an end, however, and with that, we, as the greatest kingdom ever known, must decide on who will continue to rule. Ferren and his chosen allies in leadership have done all they can to make sure every single Sumilian feels safe and secure. They would also like to thank everyone who has followed the new laws. This hasn't been exactly easy for all of us. It has been over a year since the Fortescue's were taken from us. Since that time, it is Ferren who has held us together with constant reminders that we are all in this together. However, it is you, the people, who have made living in peace without fear, possible. Speaking of loving thy neighbor, we here at Coexisting Connections have gotten word that Simul's food stores were not as badly hit as initially thought. Not only that, but this year's Festival of the Hunter's Moon was a GIANT success! Our largest contributor, a young woman by the name of Lyanna Legend, brought back enough meat to feed three cities for a month alone. Alongside the MASSIVE meat stores from the Crustation Infestation brought back by a young lady by the name is Stacy Carson and another citizen by the name of Kamal, Simul has been set! Should you, your family, or anyone you know be in need, please make your way to your nearest Licensing Office to receive another ration box. Please have your registration handy as we must still keep track of everyone who has been fed this season. Unfortunately, not all news in recent days has been all good. Just last week, there were talks of a slaughter on the Alderman Mountains. Word and witnesses say that there was a large group of people who appeared to be working together to maim and murder a group of elves and their deer companions. Once a troop of Syphon Mages and Constables went to investigate, they were met with a gruesome scene. Indeed, some magical people had had their way with innocent lives. Due to this, Ferren had announced that his troops will be expanding their efforts in order to finally find and deal with whomever is committing these terrible acts. If you have any information, please reach out to Malum Distantia on Simul Social, or contact us here, at Coexisting Connections. You can also tag us on Simul Social. If you see something, please say something. We are all in this together. That's all for this issue of Simul Quarterly. Be safe out there, Simul. Signed, Lucius Scarletwound

  • Simul Quarterly Issue 4 - Bruma 20th, 10,018

Greetings Dear Simulians, It is my honor to bring you the most recent news possible. Stay in the know, Simul, and keep yourselves, your families and friends safe and healthy! The winter months are starting to come to an end, albeit, with some cold fronts still moving in. Ferren and our capitol are still making sure every soul is fed and warm, even while we send aide toward Korrig and Dry Gulch to get the ports and trade running again. We do appreciate all of your patience while this is being accomplished. Please keep an eye out for your neighbors, friends. We are all in this together. On a more serious note, recent numbers of registrations have brought to light that there are still those who would rather hold onto some sort of 'freedom' rather than make their fellow humanoids comfortable. As much as we understand that registering all magic and items associated, we must come together in order to save lives. Yes, the processes and laws being passed may seem inconvenient and invading, but it is for the betterment of Simul. With this being said, Ferren has made an announcement that there will be more a presence of the King's Guard posted around Simul. Please carry your registrations at all times, as failing to provide identification can and will lead to, and not limited to, imprisonment and fines. Keep your eyes peeled, Simul. This new law has been implemented due to more attacks and senseless killings that have been reported to the capitol. According to witnesses and subsequent investigations, there have been a total of three different attacks on Simul soil in the last week with a death toll of 76. Each and every attack has been associated with the mysterious robed figures as well as heavy use of magics. Alongside of implementation of the new laws and guards, the following statements have come directly from our new fearless leader, Ferren: "All magic academies/schools will now be under heavy scrutiny and guard. As of now, all magic schools must close their doors to operations, effective immediately. Unfortunately, until all residents inside of our kingdom are registered, we must contain all magic use to the best of our abilities. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause." "Portals to the 'outside' cities will be cut off from the mainland, effective immediately. Due to the lack of cooperation from Arcanus Aecor, Occultatem Terra, and Astu Aether, the capitol has decided, for the moment, that it is best to shut the portals down. Any and all rations that are needed for survival will be transported by the King's Guard once per month until each city can contain itself or they comply. This also stands for the islands of Curet Insula. Since the obliteration of the bridge that connected both lands, it has been decided to keep the severance until further notice."   "Simul's food stores have been raided. This will cause more chaos than necessary. Please, be patient and have faith in your new capitol leaders during this trying time. In less than two months, crops should be back in the swing. With our efforts in saving our docks and trade cities, we hope that there will be an easier time feeding all. Please continue to fetch your rations in a timely manner. If you have any suggestions on how to stretch your food, share on Simul Social for your fellow neighbors." On our final note, we here at Coexisting Connections ask that you report anything suspicious. Keep your telegems close. Record everything. Report everything. The only way we strive is to survive, and we are going to strive, Simul. This is Lucius Scarletwound, reporting the news. Stay safe Simul.
