Library of Shit Updates Heading 2 BREAKING NEWS (November 12, 2023) BREAKING NEWS It has come to our attention that there was a recent attack on Dry Gulch! Witnesses say that a group of less than a dozen, but more than eight people descended upon the northern ship port of Dry Gulch and attacked a seaman. Not only was the ship burned to ashes, but the dock in which it was parked. Unfortunately, the owner, Warren Thule, was killed in the incident, alongside his wife and four children. It has also been clarified that this group of murderers did so with the use of fire magic. One witness overheard the spells being spoken by one perpetrator, while the rest were, allegedly, standing around and helping fuel the aforementioned attack. It is not clear if local authorities have caught any of the suspects, but the good people of Dry Gulch have been preparing for a witch hunt....This does not sound good, people of Simul. - Furvus Serpens | Kingdom of Simul
Library of Shit Category Furvus Serpens Furvus Serpens When the quiet dwarves of Dun'Lorn began their complaint, the King knew something was wrong. It started with a few trembles here and there. Nothing the good people of the dwarven city couldn't handle. Assuming it to be the natural shift of tectonic plates, they brushed it off as small quakes and nothing more. With such a fortress beneath them, there was no cause for concern...yet. Days went by, and the trembles became more and more hectic. Chips in the city walls. Rocks falling from the innards of the mountain. People injured by debris. It was time to ring the alarm. Riorji, the leader of Dun'Lorn, called for aide from the King, who in turn, sent out some of his scouts to find the source of the issue. Mages felt the last. Hunters examined the landscape. For a couple of weeks, they found absolutely nothing. Kiln, an elven explorer, was the unfortunate one to come across the ultimate discovery of the issue. By the time he had made it back to Eleutheria, his blonde hair had turned damn near translucent. The panicked man sputtered words of the great beast of the north. A completely black dragon, bigger than he had ever seen, making its way toward The Ros. The mountains had been damaged in its wake and only gnawed bones were left where larger creatures had tried to buck up to the massive monster. With the King's aide, a warning was sent in the form of a wanted 'poster' all across the great land of Simul. Event Starts 6/26 at 12 AM MT Meet Furvus Serpens. A large, obsidian dragon. - Occultatum Terra | Kingdom of Simul
Library of Shit Town Updates Occultatum Terra Occultatum Terra Year 954 Month of Frigus A large earthquake buried this beautiful city. Due to the portal being buried above surface and no other way to make it to the top, the people of Occultatum Terra were unable to repair it. Making due with the beautiful bounty of the inner earth around them, they continued to live, cut off from the world above. Year 10,012 Month of Ceres Yet another massive earthquake has hit Simul. Two portals were uncovered from thousands of years of land mass motion. After discovery, it was found that there was a massive underground city that had yet to see the light of day in hundreds of generations. The people are welcoming, but lack a lot of social skills. Bruma 20th, 10,018 Read the entirety in Simul Quarterly "Portals to the 'outside' cities will be cut off from the mainland, effective immediately. Due to the lack of cooperation from Arcanus Aecor, Occultatem Terra, and Astu Aether, the capitol has decided, for the moment, that it is best to shut the portals down. Any and all rations that are needed for survival will be transported by the King's Guard once per month until each city can contain itself or they comply. This also stands for the islands of Curet Insula. Since the obliteration of the bridge that connected both lands, it has been decided to keep the severance until further notice." - Questionable Powers List | Kingdom of Simul
Library of Shit Stuff and Things Questionable Powers List Questionable Powers List This is a basic work up of questionable or often complained about character aspects. This is to be used by staff if there are complaints that need to be moderated, and for members should they have questions on why and how we make decisions. Think of this list as a "Reference Point" for T1 standards. These are not set in stone and most scenarios are treated on a Case BY Case basis. Send 📌 Ability/Knowledge Mirror/Steal/Mimic/Absorb/Copy This should always be asked OOCly for it to work. It's common practice in T1 for OOC Perms on this one as you are taking another persons' characters' abilities and such and using them for your own. 📌 "Absolute" abilities/Item These are a no go. As you can tell from reading this list already, we limit a lot of things. This is a story based server. So, with that, comes a big "No" for anything "Absolute." For Example: Absolute Immunity to X Type of Magic. We will, however, allow for some immunity. For example, your character can be immune to fire, but they cannot be immune to all kinetic damage, all magic, all physical damage, and the like. We have been known to allow turn based absolute immunity. It all depends on the rest of the character and how balanced it may be. 📌 Absorption Depending on how this is written, it may need OOC Perms, or it may need to be explained more. This also ties in with Syphoning. 📌 Alchemy Your character may be an alchemist, but this does not mean they can pull a "Item/Potion/Whatever the fuck of Convenience" constantly. We suggest listing what your character has on hand at any given time to reduce complaints, especially in combat scenes. 📌 Anti-Magic This is something the team of mods and owners have come up with to satisfy people who would like this type of power, yet keep it balanced and not something to completely incapacitate magic only users. You can feel free to copy and paste this to a profile if need be. 📌📌 Anti-Magic Aura: This is an aura, 5 ft in radius from the user, that diminishes all magic. Any kind. This does not stop projectile magic being thrown at the user. That magic will pass through and hit (should it not be dodged.). This also diminishes enchantments on weapons and armor that come into contact with the aura. Once the opponent steps out of the aura, the enchantments are intact. This causes massive damage to any magical beings as well. The more magic they are made out of, the more damage can ensue. 📌📌 Anti-Magic Items : Items that can be swung at, thrown at, etc magical projectiles in order to avoid attack. This type of ability, with certain/more description could also be approved. 📌 Armies Armies or anything more than five minions are reserved for staff only for events. Your character is allowed to have an army, or a crew and the like, but using them in a combat scene may cause problems. Lore bending events are reserved for staff. 📌 AOE PLEASE put the ranges on these. 📌 Autohits This is a move that guarantees a hit. This is a no no. There either needs to be a build up so the opponent(s) can avoid it if need be or a visual/auditory cue. You can write out a post as if the attack lands to give more of a description for your opponent, but you can never assume that the attack will land. 📌 Automatons These will need to be magically run as we do not really allow high tech. Some mechanical aspects are completely acceptable. Please refer to Questionable Items List for a more in depth look at Simul's technological levels. 📌 Blood Manipulation Spilled blood - No OOC Perms Blood inside someone else' body - OOC Perms 📌 Body Manipulation On your own character? Go for it. On someone else' character? Depending on how it is done, it will most likely require OOC Perms. 📌Charm/Glamour/Persuasion/"Silver Tongue" You can absolutely describe your character as the most charming and beautiful person in the kingdom. What you cannot do is say they always get their way with said abilities. If it is an actual magical ability, this would fall under the OOC Perms. 📌 Clones Clones are acceptable. Please list how many your character can create at any given time and what abilities they may or may not retain from the original. 📌 Creation Magic Creation magic seems to be a popular go to for people. Please keep the following in mind when creating your character(s): 📌Is there a theme? 📌Is this just an ability of convenience? 📌Do you keep T1 in mind when in combat scenes? 📌Can your character using this be misconstrued as BS? 📌 Dimensional Manipulation The power to create or shift to other dimensions could be tricky, especially if it involves affecting others. Should the ability force other characters to shift or move to other planes or dimensions, if not given a cue or way to escape, it would be better to slap OOC Perms on it. If large scale changes to landscapes within Simul happen, you can either use it and reverse it, or play this ability under your own continuity (Meaning: lore wise will not be updated to show that change) 📌 Domains These types of abilities work much like AOE, so they also need a range. Also, keep in mind T1 standards. Just because your character can use what you listed in the profile in their 'domain' does not mean they get preference for everything inside of said domain. 📌 Enhance Reflexes As most people use this as a "They are agile", just put THAT down. As with "Reaction Time", most of the time, this will be looked at with a cocked brow and a way to just auto dodge everything. We usually frown upon these types of "Abilities". 📌Fate Manipulation Controlling the fate of your own character is fine, as long as it is not used to auto-dodge/hit/control/etc. Controlling the fate of other characters will require OOC Perms as this type of ability cannot be avoided. 📌 Future Sight Ah, a tad touchy on this subject. Generally we say no. However, there have been some that use it more like a "Maybe this happens?" sort of deal. They cannot use it in the heat of battle to see their opponent's moves or the like. It is mostly for story purposes as it makes great story. If used on another character, it will probably be best to require OOC Permission. 📌 Gravity Manipulation Again, a bit "eh" on this one. The ones we usually approve are the ones who use it for travel. Or for levitation. Your character is welcome to have more of a range with this, but keep in mind cues for other characters to be able to avoid these types of attacks. If it does not have some sort of cue to make it avoidable, slap some OOC Perms on it. 📌 Heights and Weights Cities are made for 'normal' sized citizens. Please understand this going in with a giant or a mini. 📌 Immortality/Invulnerability Immortality to age, cool. Immortality as in "No one can kill my character", not cool. We may let you make the decision for your character(s) to be killed, but sometimes, the mods must make the call. If you are somehow written into a wall, it will be up to the team to decide whether or not your character is going down. (This is also listed in the rules.) Invulnerability is a no. Whether this is invulnerable armor, skin, magic barriers, the like. It MUST be able to be broken. There are events where you can earn the possibility to gain invulnerable items, so keep an eye out for that. 📌 Instant Damage We tend to keep these types of abilities at a minimum, or nerf them. Why? Let me lay it out for you: Your character's Fire hits the target - Fire INSTANTLY burns them to ash. Nah. Your character's Fire hits the target - Fire begins eating through like a normal fire would. Cool! See the difference? These sort of fall into the "Insta-Kill" type of attacks. You could argue that "They could've avoided it!", but it is a whole different level of nope that we have established elsewhere in this list. 📌 Invisibility This one is a sketchy one. We ask that you do not use this to "Teleports behind u. 'Nothing personel Ked'". Please. Don't. Things you can do to make it a bit more acceptable: 📌📌Put a time limit on it 📌📌Do not make them intangible while invisible 📌📌Do not make them unheard/silent while invisible 📌 Limit Breaks/Ultimate Moves We can understand wanting to have an ability that can "nope" your character out of a scene or give them an adrenaline rush to complete a battle. Please keep in mind, we hold these to the same standard as any ability. With the rest of the profile and abilities in mind, we still uphold the same limits. This is more of a side note for reminder. 📌Memory Manipulation Again, with most abilities that do not have any cue associated in order to make them avoidable, this will most likely need OOC Perms. If a physical or some sort of cue is involved, it would need a time scale in order to be avoidant as Mind Reading is also an OOC Perms ability. 📌 Mind Control You will always need OOC Perms for this. It is considered an auto-hit, and control of other characters, hence the perms. 📌 Minions/Companions Your character is allowed to have as many minions or companions as you want. With T1 in mind, and the fact that lore will not change unless the owners allow, destroying cities or Simul in general is something you can play, but will not be acknowledged. Yes, we want you to be creative, but we will keep the lore solid. 📌 Omni-Type These abilities are considered "Absolute". These abilities are frown upon in T1. Having a character that is "Omni-potent" or "Omni-Presence" is a God like ability and will, more than likely, be nerfed or completely denied by staff should a complaint arise. Don't say we did not warn you. 📌 One Shot Kill Moves/Insta-Kills You know what these are. Don't pretend that you don't. Any "powers" that could kill someone in an instant. I am not going to make a list of these, since, you know, common sense. Everyone has a choice whether or not their character dies 98% of the time. 📌 OOC Perms This means you will have to ask the other player if you can use it on them. These include but are not limited to the following: 📌Dice moves 📌Controlling their character in any way, shape, or form 📌Mind control 📌Emotional Control 📌Body Control 📌Illusions 📌Sense control 📌Persuasion 📌Intimidation 📌Soul Manipulation 📌Stun/locking into place 📌Anything considered an auto hit 📌Anything that has no auditory/visual/some sort of cue 📌 Poisons List EXACTLY what the poison does, how long it lasts, how it enters the target, how long it takes to reach full effect. All poisons MUST be curable by some sort of means (Unless you have gotten OOC Permission from the other player for possible character death). This will avoid future complaints 📌 Potions/Concoctions Be prepared to list EVERY SINGLE POTION your character can create or has access to at will. Along with all appropriate descriptions. You don't HAVE to list them off the get go, but if you continuously use them as items of convenience, you may be asked to list them. 📌Probability Manipulation/"Luck" This will always require OOC Perms when used on someone else' character. To use on your own character, that is fine. For example: If your character can flip a coin and that decides if they fail or succeed at a jump across a puddle, cool and awesome. If you use that same coin flip in order to decide whether or not your character succeeds in slashing a sword and connecting against a foe character, you need that other party's permission for that. 📌 Reaction Time Big sigh incoming. We have seen this "ability" come through entirely too often. People even going as far as to put an actual time point average on it. No. Just no. It is a round about way of saying "My character can see hits coming an avoid 99% of them". Nooooot gonna happen. Don't even put it on the profile. 📌Reality Warping/Manipulation Reality bending is a cool ass concept. However....it is, usually, associated with no way to avoid. Always give details of the area it affects, time limits, effects, and ways to avoid said attack/ability. Please also keep in mind, like with Domains, that just because a character can warp an area does not mean they can use to it become a god (Untouchable). 📌 Reflection Limit yourselves, people. Constantly using a reflection ability to auto-dodge everything will get you in hot water. 📌 Resurrections We will always ALWAYS ask you to put a week time limit on this. Just going around "HA! YOU ARE ALIVE BECAUSE I SAID SO WITH NO CONSEQUENCES!" doesn't work. This is not a combat based rp. This is a story based. Make this shit dramatic. It WILL tire your character, if they have this ability. It cannot happen instantly. We also do not allow unlimited resurrections. This is at the staff's discretion. 📌 Self Regeneration TIME LIMITS PEOPLE. You got a cut? Heal that shit in a couple minutes. Lost a fucking limb? Better slap a few days on that. Near death? Probably gonna put them in a coma for a few days and take at least a week to heal up. This is reasonable. Normal humans take MUCH longer than that. We can't have a bunch of people running through rains of swords (over exaggerating here) and just healing on the spot, being all invulnerable and shit. This scale is also one we use for healing in general. Please keep this in mind when making a character who can heal at an accelerated rate using magic/potions/etc. 📌 Shapeshifting We will always ALWAYS ask for every shift possible. This includes partial shifts, limb shifts, etc. We also ask how long it takes for shifts to happen and how long they last. If the character is able to mimic other characters' looks, slap OOC Perms on it. 📌Size Manipulation This is the ability to manipulate the size of people and objects. Again, with things that cannot be avoided because there is no cue, there would need to be OOC Perms. Always describe with examples what sort of objects/things can be manipulated and sizes. We also suggest you put a limit on how many times this type of ability can be activated in a time period. 📌 Soul Creation Unless your character is a God, or making a baby, there is no justifiable way to "create a soul" on a constant basis. If you want to have a character that can create souls, make sure it is believable. Clones, Horcruxes, Golems and the like are possible. 📌 Soul Manipulation Again, this falls into an auto-hit category. Unless it has a way to be avoided, it will require OOC Perms. 📌 Sound This works very similar to Telekinesis, which, in turn, would require some sort of cue or build up to the attack landing in order for your opponent to react and avoid. Shimmering, wind, something to give a way for someone to react. Also, putting a range on the affected area is something we may ask for. 📌 Speed Limits For running speed, we usually cap around 50 mph/80 Kmph. As for flight speed, we look at a lot of different aspects such as size of the character, how large the wings are, etc. This speed can obviously be much higher than running speed, but the cap we may ask you for depends on other aspects of the character. We only cap when speed becomes a complaint/problem. 📌 Syphoning Now, this type of ability seems fairly cut and dry, but it has SO MANY branches. Here are a few things to keep in mind: 📌📌Syphoning energy from around your character is fine. Put a range on it. Elaborate on what types and kinds of energies and things they are syphoning from. Should it become a problem, we may ask for a scale (How much in percentage and time limits, etc) 📌📌Syphoning from other characters WILL require OOC perms as there, more than likely, will not be a cue to avoid. Should it be by touch, it will need to be scaled (How much energy in how much time). 📌 Telekinesis As this ability is almost 100% invisible, we have decided to nerf it in our own way. All forms of telekinesis needs to have some sort of visual cue as to not be an auto hit. OR! You can slap OOC perms on it. We usually ask people to put a "shimmer" or "distortion" on anything their character does with this kinesis. 📌 Telepathy When it comes to controlling other characters, we will ALWAYS tell you to add OOC Permission to the power. You do not get to control other characters unless the player says you can. If this is used for purely communication, then it will not need a tag. Digging up memories? Tag. Telling someone they smell? No tag. Causing pain in the brain? Tag. Pretty simple, right? 📌 Teleportation/Portals NO MORE OF THAT "Teleports behind u" SHIT PLEASE. Put a distance on it. Do not use it multiple times in a singular action. Yadayadayada. 📌 Temperature Depending on the type of ability and size and other factors, we may ask for a temperature cap on an ability. This is not always something we will ask for, but it has been known to be asked. There is no hard cap for this either, but we may suggest different temperatures for different types of abilities. 📌 Time Control You will always be asked to use OOC Perms on this. 📌Weapon Summoning/Creation Please list all weapons/types. It makes for less complaints when in combat scenarios when the other party knows what to expect. 📌 Weather Manipulation Do not expect everyone to stop what they are doing in different scenes in order to acknowledge your character creating a giant tsunami to overtake Simul. 📌 Wide Spread Abilities Things that could affect lore must be approved by staff. Not saying you CAN'T have these abilities like plagues, weather, etc, but what we ARE saying is that it will not be recorded into lore, more than likely. Go nuts, but know that not everyone has to acknowledge it. More to be added as needed No Updates Yet Most Recent Update November 18, 2025 Views Back to Top

Library of Shit Town Updates Astu Aether Astu Aether Year 10,011 Month of Ver The city fell out of the sky, almost literally. Calls for aide were sent out in a hurry. The people of Astu Aether had something wrong with them. What was it, you ask? Little did the people of Simul know, that the floating city sitting above the southern waters was infested with a strange and nearly terrifyingly....hilarious problem. In a desperate and rushed decision, the people of Astu Aether decided to move their last remaining city to a whole new realm, hoping to find a solution to their problem. They had no idea where it would end up, but luckily for them, they came to the right place. With the King's blessing, Astu Aether's plea for help has been spread across the land. With the recent attacks, The leader of Astu Aether has been requested to move the city itself to a safe location. With the help of the mages sent by the King, Astu Aether has successfully relocated their city to the Western Coast. Year 10,011 Month of Dissilio The giggle plague has been eradicated! The king personally thanks all who contributed to killing the little fuzz balls from the land. All are safe and welcome to come by Astu Aether! BREAKING NEWS (Taken from Simul Quarterly) Ver 21st, 10,017 It does not bring any ounce of joy to report on this story today, Simul. We just got word that there was yet ANOTHER random attack on our great kingdom. Astu Aether's portal tree, that sits on the southern coast of Simul, that also allows for easier travel to the floating city, has been the victim of arson. From what information we have gathered and statements provided by witnesses, it seems that a singular man, heavily robed in dark clothing had come in the night to set the bottom of the tree on fire. Some sort of fluid had been used which is what caused most of the damage. The only good news is that there WERE witnesses that were able to extinguish the flames before the tree was unsalvageable. The city leader of Astu Aether has put out a statement regarding the issue: "My people and my city are my first priority when it comes to safety. For the foreseeable future, we will be positioning guards at the tree that will take personal information for all those coming and going from Astu Aether. Please have a little patience. We are doing this for the safety of everyone." We here at Coexisting Connections send our best. This is Flynn, signing off. Library of Shit Town Updates Gao Shan Gao Shan Heims 14, 10,017 BREAKING NEWS (Taken from Simul Quarterly) As someone who is magical, I find myself very concerned with the recent breaking stories we have had to cover here at Coexisting Connections. But it is my duty to keep the people of Simul informed, and I will always keep that promise. Less than 24 hours ago, it was brought to our attention that there was a murder in Gao Shan. 32 year old Yang Da of Gao Shan was murdered in his back garden. According to GSP, Yang was shoveling a path to his back shed when he was attacked. Witnesses stated they they had heard the screams of the young man. One neighbor said they had rushed outside and saw Yang being attacked by an unnamed assailant dressed in dark robes that masked their face. However, it was also reported that the attacker had used a fire magic. "All I saw was fire coming from their hands while they punched and kicked Mr. Da. I tried to climb the gate, but I was too late. The murderer sprouted wings and disappeared into the sky!" GSP ask for the people to keep a vigilant stance and report anything suspect. Our condolences go out to Yang's family. - BREAKING NEWS : Dissilio 26, 10,017 | Kingdom of Simul
Library of Shit Category BREAKING NEWS : Dissilio 26, 10,017 BREAKING NEWS : Dissilio 26, 10,017 Dear Simul, This will be my last article until further notice. Do not fret friends! The news will make it to you, I promise! Before I hand Simul Quarterly to our newest host, Lucius Scarletwound, I would like to take this opportunity to deliver not only an amazing update for the citizens of Simul, but I would love to formally introduce you to our newest writer. Lucius Scarletwound of Timberholde is a born and raised citizen who has loved our land as much as anyone. Not only is he a very talented writer, but he also has many friends in many places. I trust that Lucius will uphold the truth and safety of the people! Now, back to what you all have been waiting so anxiously for: What is new in Simul? Since the coronation of our new leader, Ferren, our kingdom has undergone some very large changes. Much as the Pastor promised, he has begun to implement many new rules and laws in order to rebuild and keep you all safe. Now, I understand that some of these changes and promises have caused a bit of a stir when it comes to our magical community, but I must iterate; this is for the best . Considering the hell we the people have had to endure these last few months, it is necessary that we come together and make one another feel safe. Ferren has promised more than just safety. He has promised order and community. I, for one, may be one of the magical that must adjust how I live, but if it makes Simul rest easier, then I am willing to do such. Compiled below are the news laws that will mark a new age in Simul’s history. Community: Under this law, all Simul citizens will abide by a new curfew. This law only stands in city limits. Until the perpetrators of the crimes against Simul have been found and punished, the curfew will stand between the hours of 9 PM and 6 AM. All citizens must be inside between these hours. All businesses inside of city limits must adjust their hours accordingly. All businesses will be compensated by the Royal Fund with proper documentation of loss of revenue. All requests must be sent to Ferren Drebek, Royal Quarters, Eleutheria. Safety: Until a new royal family can be assigned, Siphoning Mages have been increased in order to be disbursed throughout Simul. Every major city and landmark will now be equipped with roaming Siphoning Mages to patrol the area. This is for the safety of our people. Until the crime has been quelled, Siphoning Mages will make their homes among the people. If you would like to house a Mage, please contact the Royal Quarters in order to set a meeting and be qualified. Any and all who offer aid will be compensated for their time, room and board. Trust: Any and all magical technology and persons (Non-Humans or Magical Humans) must register their abilities and capabilities. Alongside the Siphoning Mages, groups of Treasurers will accompany them in order to survey the populace. This may seem a bit invasive, but this is for the safety of all. Those who have taken lives and caused suffrage have yet to be brought to justice. Until that time, for the peace of mind of every soul, we must be open about who we all are. Any persons or items found to not be registered will immediately be confiscated and/or jailed until proper paperwork is obtained. From the date of this article, all persons/items must be registered within the next 7 days. Persons registered will have a card designated to them which must be on their person at all times for identification purposes. You can register at your local post office or main city entrances. There will be temporary offices designated for this purpose. Vigilance: This is not a new law, but more a warning for citizens. If you see something or someone magical, please use caution. Do not treat your fellow man any differently, however! That is not what we are doing here. We just want people to be safe and secure. This is why Identification Cards will be provided. If someone magical refuses to identify themselves, or have proper paperwork for magical items, please contact your local authorities. It may just be that they did not see the announcements. You will be doing them a favor! The faster we identify those with magic, the faster we can find and deal with the assailants on our land. Thank you Simul, for trusting me all this time with your news! This Flynn, signing off until further notice. I will miss you. Library of Shit Updates Heading 2 Revenge is a...Yeti? Nearly three years ago, the citizens of Simul fought a long and hard battle. During the winter months, and the happiest time of year, Krampus the Asshole invaded Simul. Threatening to maim and murder anyone in his path. But...he never said why? How confusing. No one ever asked. Little did the unsuspecting Simulians know...Krampus had a counterpart. His long time partner, in crime and terrorizing: Yeti Confetti. That's right. Not only was Krampus' last name Confetti, but he had been spending the better part of three thousand years with the man of his dreams, Yeti. The two had spent centuries causing mayhem and listening to the legends of their torture. It was an amazing life indeed...until one night, Krampus did not come home. - BREAKING NEWS (Astu Aether) | Kingdom of Simul
Library of Shit Category BREAKING NEWS (Astu Aether) BREAKING NEWS (Astu Aether) It does not bring any ounce of joy to report on this story today, Simul. - Simul Quarterly Issue 2 (September, 2023) | Kingdom of Simul
Library of Shit Category Simul Quarterly Issue 2 (September, 2023) Simul Quarterly Issue 2 (September, 2023) Hello again my fellow Simulians! Tis your one and only, yet somehow, favorite Simul Social Personality! I’m back with another issue of Simul Quarterly for your eyes to feast upon. Since our last newsworthy update, our fair kingdom has been relatively quiet and peaceful. Well…as peaceful as it can be with the fear of looming doom. I am sure there is nothing to panic about! I did hear through the grapevine that something had happened recently. Soooooo, our favorite tavern, Mary’s, was attacked a few weeks back. Apparently, the assailant had blown off the whole front of her beautiful establishment! I did hear someone even DIED. Who in the hell does that? At least there were some nice folks that helped her rebuild fairly quickly. But you know what’s strange? Though there were witnesses….no one spoke a name. Perhaps I will do some digging. On a lighter note! Two of Simul’s favorite holidays are coming up fast! First, Canto Mortuus. Every year, the battle for the most treats takes place. Alongside the opening of Soulstagne’s magical barrier, this holiday brings together families and friends in ways that can only happen on this special day. Be sure to make quick work of those calories, for the Festival of the Hunter’s Moon comes next. Our best and brightest adventurers will take to the wilds and procure enough meat for all of Simul to eat happily through the rest of the winter months. Do you think you have what it takes to be this years’ “Heroic Hunter” and dethrone Evan Skjöld'Drek? – How do you even pronounce that --? Wanna know something cool?
