  • Furvus Serpens | Kingdom of Simul

Library of Shit Updates Heading 2 Furvus Serpens When the quiet dwarves of Dun'Lorn began their complaint, the King knew something was wrong. It started with a few trembles here and there. Nothing the good people of the dwarven city couldn't handle. Assuming it to be the natural shift of tectonic plates, they brushed it off as small quakes and nothing more. With such a fortress beneath them, there was no cause for concern...yet. Days went by, and the trembles became more and more hectic. Chips in the city walls. Rocks falling from the innards of the mountain. People injured by debris. It was time to ring the alarm. Riorji, the leader of Dun'Lorn, called for aide from the King, who in turn, sent out some of his scouts to find the source of the issue. Mages felt the last. Hunters examined the landscape. For a couple of weeks, they found absolutely nothing. Kiln, an elven explorer, was the unfortunate one to come across the ultimate discovery of the issue. By the time he had made it back to Eleutheria, his blonde hair had turned damn near translucent. The panicked man sputtered words of the great beast of the north. A completely black dragon, bigger than he had ever seen, making its way toward The Ros. The mountains had been damaged in its wake and only gnawed bones were left where larger creatures had tried to buck up to the massive monster. With the King's aide, a warning was sent in the form of a wanted 'poster' all across the great land of Simul. Event Starts 6/26 at 12 AM MT Meet Furvus Serpens. A large, obsidian dragon. Welcome to the last place you want to be. Vex-Mora is a town located just to the west of Mary's tavern. (High Fantasy Texted Based Roleplay. Join us on Discord today!) Vex-Mora Welcome to the last place you want to be. Vex-Mora is a town located just to the west of Mary's tavern. Those who have nowhere to go have decided to settle in the area. Unsavory folks with pasts that rival most. But....there is always a reason to visit... Here, you can find anything you need. Nearly. Lost, forbidden magics and potions. Items of rarity. Things...that others may find hard to stomach. Favors from those who have nothing left to lose. The price you pay will depend. Not always is coin accepted.. The trail is overgrown. The air is putrid. You will know when you arrive. The question is, will you leave in one piece? You may want to consider masking who you truly are... The people that roam Vex Mora are far from friendly. Never assume you can gain any leeway here unless you have a pocket full of coin, or an item of value. The best thing for you to do is do your business and get out. They may live as a community, but they are far from the word. Attacking and eating each other is a common occurrence. Year Incorporated: 1207 Population: Approximately 6,000 Human-ish: 42% Elven-ish: 11% Dwarven-ish: 3% Other Things: 41% Magically Inclined(Or...things): Approximately 33% Updates Corrosive Concoctions Need something a little more 'aggressive'? How about something downright...taboo? Go see Milian at Corrosive Concoctions. Having been the at the headstone of Vex Mora's beginning, Milian has also been the local "Poison Man" if you will. He can get you anything. If he can't find it, he will make it. Everything within this establishment has a high price... Menu Here Witches Witness The Witch’s Witness is run by, you guessed it, a witch. Her name is Barbara and she claims to be more or less a prophet of witchcraft. You’ll find everything from voodoo dolls to ancient, cursed books containing knowledge man should never have here… All for a price. She doesn’t just take money, but she also trades for things you’ll regret giving away. If you try to cheat or trick her the saying goes that “you’d be better off trying to run from the devil in hell than getting away from this woman”. Chopping Block The Chopping Block is the prime butcher’s shop in Vex Mora. Run by a strange, unidentifiable monstrosity in the guise of a man’s flesh (Mostly...or at least, that’s the rumor) who goes by the unassuming name of Carl, there’s no better place to find quality meat, not in any other shady back alley in Vex Mora! Though, the owner gets rather upset if you ask where the meat comes from or about his origins… He likes to keep his secrets. But if you listen to the word on the street, not all of the meat comes from animals… Not like the people of Vex Mora mind. Fingers and Fiddles Fingers and Fiddles, a house of whores and a house of… Music? For some reason, every third man (or woman) hired is a musician. The music plays all day and all night, which would irritate neighbors if not for them changing the tune to be more soothing at night. The owner, Madame Marian, always goes on about how she wants to maintain an air of “class”... Despite the floors being no cleaner than the prostitutes who work there. It’s widely believed that any whore who can’t please or sing well enough for the clients and the madame ends up dismembered and tossed away like yesterday’s garbage. The Drunken Donkey Yee-haw, yee-haw! The Drunken Donkey, named for the donkey carcass mounted on the wall over the fireplace, is one of the least reputable pubs in town. People don’t just come here to drink, they come here to gamble, to settle scores, and to collect dues. The place is filthy and not even the drinks and food are guaranteed to be clean, but the drink and food is usually the last concern people have coming here. The owner, Darl, hates the owner of the Hellhole with a passion, and Five-Finger Lenny hates him back. It’s said that they were twins who grew up having violently opposing ideologies about the importance of cleanliness. Celestial Athenaeum Upon walking into the only book holding building in Vex, you will be greeted with a rather...beautiful sight. How the beasts that make up such an awful place managed to complete a gorgeous piece of architecture, no one really knows. Most because no one wants to ask. The deep you roam into Celestial Anthenaeum, the larger it gets. Rooms dedicated learning the more... "dark" arts of life. Magic and life is general. Is it worth it to try and get in? Sure. Can you get out? Perhaps...The rumor is, the owner, Mavros has a taste for large brains. Hell Hole The Hellhole is a tavern that is… Oddly fine for the name and the place it is located in. It is almost always spotless clean despite the kind of raffle that runs through it, and it always smells of roses. The owner is a rather odd man who goes by the name of Five-Finger Lenny. The tavern sells the finest ale in town and it is said that the owner offers plenty of other… Darker services in the back. One thing for sure is that anyone who causes a mess is known to wake up the next day missing a finger, or even much more than that. The owner has a bloody hatred for the owner of the Drunken Donkey. It’s said that they were twins who grew up having violently opposing ideologies about the importance of cleanliness. Enchanted Enhancements Vex Mora's most infamous blacksmith. Meet Hesker. Hesker has the wares you need. (HA). For a massive price, this creepy old man can make you just about any melee weapon of choice...with just about any enchantment. They may not be unbreakable, but they can definitely be brutal. Marsha's Tavern More information HERE

  • The Divide | Kingdom of Simul

Library of Shit Updates Heading 2 The Divide Part One: How long had it been since he had actually felt the sun on his skin? Timothy had been out of his mind for too long and he knew it. She had distracted him. She had put him in a place hoping that he would continue to forget. Clever . But, her distractions had held her up long enough that his mind had ‘come back’ to him. It was time to pay. It was time to remind them. The sun had left its scar across the tree tops, casting elongated shadows reminiscent of the eldritch horrors that were about to be upon every soul Simul held. As dusk fell upon every home, Timothy added to the potion of night. It was nothing tangible at first; only the sound of wind through tattered robes. His leathered body made its way north west from Sudbury, aiming his hollow eyes at the distant capitol. Quietly, at first, his chapped lips parted to spill forth a spell he had been preparing for months. ”Cadant. Guadeant.” “Mother.” The look upon Hilda’s eldest son, Lloyd’s face was more than just haunting. His eyes, wide with silent terror, pierced the dim candle light of her study. His tall frame quivered noticeably while his hands gripped the bottom hem of his royal green tunic that he had already dressed into for bed. “What is it, my son?” “I-I could not find father a-and…something is wrong.” He had to speak nothing more as the queen had already risen from her perch and hastily walked toward him. Her expression was a near perfect copy of his own while uncertainty pumped through her veins. ”Pro animabus suis.” “He just-just fell down. ” Mother and son stood in the archway that led to the younger of the brothers’ room. Herald, still in his day dress, lay on the crimson rug that kept his otherwise cold marble floor warm. His eyes, rounded, peered up toward them. No. ….he wasn’t looking at them. He was looking passed them, into the darkness of the hallway. And even as his mother fell to her knees and took his head into her lap and did what she could to bring him back to reality, his blank stare persisted. Lloyd could only stand there, staring back at the eyes he knew held nothing behind them. Hilda screamed. ” Non relinquam.” Thud. “What in the-” Alfred’s voice rang clear, if only to be cut off by the sight before him. His dear wife holding their youngest son close to her chest while his eldest, the heir to the Fortescue Throne, lay mere inches away with the same, empty eyes, directed at him. By the time the king could muster enough thought to yell for help, something else happened. One of the last memories he would have. Hilda’s crying had ceased. Her beautiful eyes, too, widened, as if she were frightened. Her lips trembled and quaked, aching to say something. Before she could, the sound of her head hitting the marble floor echoed back at her husband. The imaginary concussive force was enough to send Alfred staggering backward, reaching out for anything to hold himself up. All while he watched his family slowly melt onto the floor… ”Vocant nomen meum. Volunt pacem.: The scene itself was one that could cause even the most disciplined monk to falter on their feet. But the smell . Their flesh bubbled, blistered, burning from the inside and splitting open to make way for rivers of mushed muscle and liquified organs. It did not stop there. For, the moment there was nothing but puddles and bones, even they began to break down. Cracks riddled the surface of their skeletons before finally shattering, sprinkling into the pools that were once the king’s cherished family. The castle rang with the sound of a howling that could only be described as agony in vibration. ”Et hac nocte.” The frigid grip on Alfred’s shoulder was the only thing that had his incessant screaming pause. And if it were not for the sight of Timothy behind the non consented collision, perhaps the king would have had half a mind to continue his uncontrolled wailing. However, he would be joining the family he had just lost. If only he knew. If only anyone could have stopped it. The Doctor leaned in, allowing his icy breath to wash over Alfred’s cheekbone. ”Cessabunt.” Part Two: As reported on BREAKING NEWS : It is my displeasure to bring the most current news to Simul. As much as I would love to not have to relay this information, it is my duty to keep you all informed and as safe as I can. With that, I must weave together the details of last night’s horrors. Before the sun began to descend, something else fell upon our great kingdom. From what we can gather, the first attack was in Korrig. Despite the docks already having taken a major hit, it appears the assailants decided they needed to come back to finish the job. Unfortunately, the structures are a complete loss. Even worse, it has been reported that more than 20 people are still missing while the casualties are nearing the same number and injuries have topped 33. From what we can tell, the next attack was shortly thereafter in Timberholde. Every city entrance was reportedly blown apart and virtually sealing the city inside of itself. This also included grave damage to the newest addition, the train. The station and surrounding area have been destroyed beyond repair. Casualties have reached 67, more than 40 have been injured and another 17 are still missing. Another attack mere hours after came in the form of another explosion. This one took out the entirety of the bridge from the mainland to Curet Insula. No fatalities have been reported, but it has only been a few hours since receiving the news and searches are still in effect. I wish I could say that I have reported everything. I wish I could tell you great people that we can recover from this. I wish I had the magic words…something to give you all hope. Unfortunately, with this last piece of information I have to bear, I cannot fathom how we are to unite. At just past 8 last night, Eleutheria and our royal family was attacked. According to the guards and surviving staff, nothing was out of the ordinary until they heard Hilda scream and then what sounded like a man being tortured. This man is assumed to be King Alfred. Apparently, shortly after, a fire broke out, causing many of the people who also lived in the castle to flee with little to nothing to the second story of the city. Still, 13 are missing and feared dead. The royal family was never located, even after the fire was quelled. There was but a note left at the scene. This note had a confession and confessions to more crimes that were, unfortunately, confirmed this morning. The entire Fortescue bloodline has been murdered. Sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, grandfathers and grandmothers… all of the bloodline has been taken from Simul in the most horrid of ways. I cannot even begin to write what information I have been given. Simul…please. PLEASE be safe. I know we are now living in a very uncertain time. I have faith that we will be okay. Please, look after yourselves, your families, your neighbors and your cities. This is Flynn, signing off. Part Three: “How convenient .” The voice, as smooth as honey with a sting of whiskey, Ferren stepped forward, his arms outstretched toward the seated crowd. The room, only illuminated by candle light, held more shadows than souls. Upon his stage, the only thing separating him and his patrons was a large, ancient oak lectern. Atop, an open book. The leather case had obviously seen better days and the pages between looked to have been made of tissue paper. Sullen and sunken eyes peered out from the darkness, aching to see what their fearless leader had to say. “It has come to my attention that Simul needs us. A lesson we have been trying to relay, yet, have been ignored. The time is now. We must offer our services to aid those in need. We must smile in the face of danger . We must provide comfort and care. We must protect those who cannot protect themselves. “As we have known since the beginning of time, magic -” A resounding hiss echoed through the masses, disgust rolling from their tongues. “-has brought nothing but pain and agony. Those who are not pure and normal have kept us in the dark for too long. They keep us from living normal lives. Safe lives. They took our king from us!” The hiss had quickly turned into grunts and chants of agreement. A haunting melody of what was to come. Ferren’s arms fell, his palms landing on the book he treasured. A disgusting smile growing on his oddly proportioned face. “We will make Simul ours again. We will make it safe. It is time for us to go to Eleutheria.” — It would take exactly 21 days to reach their destination. It was not a direct route by any means. Of course it wasn’t. They had to make sure that people knew them, that people would stand with them when the time came. The time would come, and the group of ten would stand in front of what was rebuilt of the royal family’s castle. Messages had already been received, which had allowed Ferren and his entourage to enter without question. For two days more, meetings were held and plans were made. It was indeed their time. — “People of Simul!” Much like he had spoken his piece in front of his congregation, Ferren stood on the second story balcony of the castle. His entire form was easily seen by every set of eyes on the grounds. There had been posters and announcements made, telling of a man who had offered his ‘services’ in place of a royal family until Simul could heal. The news had promised this man had plans and safety. And that is exactly what he planned to do…to say . “We have been through hell and back. We have survived. We will continue to thrive. We may have lost our leaders, but we still have one another. From this moment on, I promise to make sure no tragedy like the recent happens ever again. ” Silence befell him. It may have appeared he was taking in the trust and admiration of the people…but in the depths of his mind, a singular cog was churning. Oh, how these people trusted him. “There will be changes to our kingdom. There will be safety. ” Part Four: As reported on BREAKING NEWS : Dear Simul, This will be my last article until further notice. Do not fret friends! The news will make it to you, I promise! Before I hand Simul Quarterly to our newest host, Lucius Scarletwound, I would like to take this opportunity to deliver not only an amazing update for the citizens of Simul, but I would love to formally introduce you to our newest writer. Lucius Scarletwound of Timberholde is a born and raised citizen who has loved our land as much as anyone. Not only is he a very talented writer, but he also has many friends in many places. I trust that Lucius will uphold the truth and safety of the people! Now, back to what you all have been waiting so anxiously for: What is new in Simul? Since the coronation of our new leader, Ferren, our kingdom has undergone some very large changes. Much as the Pastor promised, he has begun to implement many new rules and laws in order to rebuild and keep you all safe. Now, I understand that some of these changes and promises have caused a bit of a stir when it comes to our magical community, but I must iterate; this is for the best . Considering the hell we the people have had to endure these last few months, it is necessary that we come together and make one another feel safe. Ferren has promised more than just safety. He has promised order and community. I, for one, may be one of the magical that must adjust how I live, but if it makes Simul rest easier, then I am willing to do such. Compiled below are the news laws that will mark a new age in Simul’s history. Community: Under this law, all Simul citizens will abide by a new curfew. This law only stands in city limits. Until the perpetrators of the crimes against Simul have been found and punished, the curfew will stand between the hours of 9 PM and 6 AM. All citizens must be inside between these hours. All businesses inside of city limits must adjust their hours accordingly. All businesses will be compensated by the Royal Fund with proper documentation of loss of revenue. All requests must be sent to Ferren Drebek, Royal Quarters, Eleutheria. Safety: Until a new royal family can be assigned, Siphoning Mages have been increased in order to be disbursed throughout Simul. Every major city and landmark will now be equipped with roaming Siphoning Mages to patrol the area. This is for the safety of our people. Until the crime has been quelled, Siphoning Mages will make their homes among the people. If you would like to house a Mage, please contact the Royal Quarters in order to set a meeting and be qualified. Any and all who offer aid will be compensated for their time, room and board. Trust: Any and all magical technology and persons (Non-Humans or Magical Humans) must register their abilities and capabilities. Alongside the Siphoning Mages, groups of Treasurers will accompany them in order to survey the populace. This may seem a bit invasive, but this is for the safety of all. Those who have taken lives and caused suffrage have yet to be brought to justice. Until that time, for the peace of mind of every soul, we must be open about who we all are. Any persons or items found to not be registered will immediately be confiscated and/or jailed until proper paperwork is obtained. From the date of this article, all persons/items must be registered within the next 7 days. Persons registered will have a card designated to them which must be on their person at all times for identification purposes. You can register at your local post office or main city entrances. There will be temporary offices designated for this purpose. Vigilance: This is not a new law, but more a warning for citizens. If you see something or someone magical, please use caution. Do not treat your fellow man any differently, however! That is not what we are doing here. We just want people to be safe and secure. This is why Identification Cards will be provided. If someone magical refuses to identify themselves, or have proper paperwork for magical items, please contact your local authorities. It may just be that they did not see the announcements. You will be doing them a favor! The faster we identify those with magic, the faster we can find and deal with the assailants on our land. Thank you Simul, for trusting me all this time with your news! This Flynn, signing off until further notice. I will miss you. Part Five: To come. • Wish Well | Kingdom of Simul

Library of Shit Category Wish Well Wish Well In the year of 10,001, month of Aestus, a massive tragedy struck the Kingdom of Simul. It came in the night. While the citizens of Wish Well were asleep in their homes, the demon walked into the entrance of the city. Its eyes were set upon the complete destruction and genocide of thousands of souls. They didn't see it coming. In the quiet of night, the demon trudged inward, trapping them all behind a barrier they could not see. The fire is what woke them. The fire...then the screams. Then the wide spread panic when the people figured out there was no way to leave. The terror that ensued would forever be etched into the surface of what Wish Well used to be. For, the moment that it was over and every living soul had been ripped from its host, Wish Well's land was cursed to forever be seen as it had been destroyed that night. Many have come and tried to rebuild, or just get a peek at the ruins. The moment they turn around....it goes back into place. Wish Well has been dubbed "Haunted" by the community. The demon was never found...or so the people say. Year 10,010 Month of Ignis The face of Wish Well changed. Who or what did it, no one knows. In the middle of the once beautiful city of Wish Well, where the people used to gather, there sits a fountain. What was once destroyed now appears to have been untouched. The large fountain centerpiece has not a chip off of its surface. Clear and clean water rushes from the tip, filling the neglected pool below. Surrounding it....are the graves of the thousands of people who had been living there the night of the destruction. As no travelers with a good head on their shoulders visit such a place...no one had witnessed the act. Send Send Send Send No Updates Yet Most Recent Update None yet Views Back to Top

  • Simul Quartlery - Bruma 20th, 10,018 | Kingdom of Simul

Library of Shit Category Simul Quartlery - Bruma 20th, 10,018 Simul Quartlery - Bruma 20th, 10,018 Greetings Dear Simulians, It is my honor to bring you the most recent news possible. Stay in the know, Simul, and keep yourselves, your families and friends safe and healthy! The winter months are starting to come to an end, albeit, with some cold fronts still moving in. Ferren and our capitol are still making sure every soul is fed and warm, even while we send aide toward Korrig and Dry Gulch to get the ports and trade running again. We do appreciate all of your patience while this is being accomplished. Please keep an eye out for your neighbors, friends. We are all in this together. On a more serious note, recent numbers of registrations have brought to light that there are still those who would rather hold onto some sort of 'freedom' rather than make their fellow humanoids comfortable. As much as we understand that registering all magic and items associated, we must come together in order to save lives. Yes, the processes and laws being passed may seem inconvenient and invading, but it is for the betterment of Simul. With this being said, Ferren has made an announcement that there will be more a presence of the King's Guard posted around Simul. Please carry your registrations at all times, as failing to provide identification can and will lead to, and not limited to, imprisonment and fines. Keep your eyes peeled, Simul. This new law has been implemented due to more attacks and senseless killings that have been reported to the capitol. According to witnesses and subsequent investigations, there have been a total of three different attacks on Simul soil in the last week with a death toll of 76. Each and every attack has been associated with the mysterious robed figures as well as heavy use of magics. Alongside of implementation of the new laws and guards, the following statements have come directly from our new fearless leader, Ferren: "All magic academies/schools will now be under heavy scrutiny and guard. As of now, all magic schools must close their doors to operations, effective immediately. Unfortunately, until all residents inside of our kingdom are registered, we must contain all magic use to the best of our abilities. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause." "Portals to the 'outside' cities will be cut off from the mainland, effective immediately. Due to the lack of cooperation from Arcanus Aecor, Occultatem Terra, and Astu Aether, the capitol has decided, for the moment, that it is best to shut the portals down. Any and all rations that are needed for survival will be transported by the King's Guard once per month until each city can contain itself or they comply. This also stands for the islands of Curet Insula. Since the obliteration of the bridge that connected both lands, it has been decided to keep the severance until further notice." "Simul's food stores have been raided. This will cause more chaos than necessary. Please, be patient and have faith in your new capitol leaders during this trying time. In less than two months, crops should be back in the swing. With our efforts in saving our docks and trade cities, we hope that there will be an easier time feeding all. Please continue to fetch your rations in a timely manner. If you have any suggestions on how to stretch your food, share on Simul Social for your fellow neighbors." On our final note, we here at Coexisting Connections ask that you report anything suspicious. Keep your telegems close. Record everything. Report everything. The only way we strive is to survive, and we are going to strive, Simul. This is Lucius Scarletwound, reporting the news. Stay safe Simul. • Eleutheria | Kingdom of Simul

Eleutheria Welcome to Simul's capitol: Eleutheria. This beautiful city is located on an island in the middle of Lake Chester. Lake Chester is a much larger lake than Lake Torra located in the south. Atop the island is the King and Queen's residence that has an open door policy during the day, as it is heavily guarded. Travel on foot throughout is made possible through the many golden walls or towers found on the inner or outer walls. All are welcome within its walls. The King and Queen encourage all throughout the land to not only visit, but to reside in their castle city. The place is big enough to house a large city. The people are more than friendly, and thus, there is rarely any notable crime. This is also due to the highly trained mages patrolling the area on a constant basis. It is said that the atmosphere is lovely enough to soothe even the darkest of hearts. The first level is home to most of the occupants. The second has more upscale homes and shops. The third level is the royal home. Year Incorporated: 122 Population: Approximately 20,000 Human: 63% Elven: 17% Dwarven: 5% Other: 15% Magically inclined: Approximately 11% Updates Black Garden Asylum In the deepest parts of Eleutheria, there is rumored to be a prison, run by the worst warden anyone has ever heard of. They don't even know her name...Well...not so much as rumor. More of one of those stories you tell your children at night. "Don't be bad unless you want to end up in Black Garden Asylum. Where all the bad people have to stay forever." Little do most know, this is actually the case. Within the castle city, where only few know, there lies a massive prison. One that only a RARE select few have ever been released from. Inside of this horrid place, hidden far from the citizens, is a maze of stone walls and cages separated only by the mass amount of arch mages who live and work there. Their job? To siphon all energies from the inmates. Magical, mental, life force. Anything they have to, every second of every day, in order to weaken all who are contained. Every cell is divided by nearly a half mile of concrete and steel. The rest of the rooms? Those are for the workers. Never a split second goes by that someone is left alone. This does not happen, as the inmates are inmates for a reason. Not only is it impossible to get in, but impossible to get out. Smoldering Sword Those looking for high quality weapons and armor that find themselves in The Smoldering Sword have found just what they are looking for. Each weapon is made to order, though there is a shop of pre-mades as the front entrance. The smith, Charles, has no ability to make enchanted weapons. If you buy, you are buying good, old fashions steel. The Dancing Mug A place welcoming to all travelers who seek shelter and company after great adventures! Come here to reunite with great dealers, claim rewards, gamble your life away, drink up your problems! Doesn't matter who you are or what you are or where you are from. As long as you don't destroy the place, for the owner, Farrah, will mess your day up! The Magistera The Magistera is one of the world's-or at least, so the academy's headmistress, Mrs G, will claim-greatest and most prestigious places of arcane knowledge. It is here that aspiring young mages, and more elderly ones just looking to brush up on their skills and learn a few new things, as wisdom is not exclusive to the youth, come from all across the continent to learn, practice, and unlock the full potential of the magical arts. The academy is known for having a deeply expansive library filled to the brim with books on arcane subjects ranging from the very basics to knowledge of exotic magical dealings you've never heard of originating from far-off lands. Of course, the academy offers not just educational services but is the place to go if you have to deal with some unfortunate magical trouble or need expert advice. Curses, magical diseases, just need some advice? The academy can help! The headmistress, Mrs G, may look like a young woman, but her intelligence is beyond her outward appearance. Chester Port The only way to go from Wingston to Eleutheria without teleporting or flying or swimming would be through Port Chester. Just on the outside of Elutheria's main entrance, one can catch a boat, big or small to and from. Most of the time, the big boats are run by Ryan. The smaller boats are for rent, as long as you return them unscathed! Vombri Healingfist Vrombi may not look like it, but the dwarven man is the best healer in all of Eleutheria. His schedule is often booked with the mundane. Cuts and bumps and bruises. When he is not tending to the local drunkards and their scuffles, Vrombi can be found wandering around the royal part of the castle tending to the King's Guard. He is also very versed with women giving birth. A very rare sight to see: A male midwife. Pages of Time The largest library and book store in all of Simul sits deep inside of Eleutheria. With acres of papers, Pages of Time has rooms that haven't been touched in decades. You will often find yourself among others camping out inside of the building, hoping to find that rare piece of literary mastery. You may want to bring your own camping gear. A lonely librarian by the name of Elijah Gadiel runs this massive collection and is one of the most friendly day walking vampires you could meet! Marge's Tavern More information HERE Grub Grabs From dragon to cow, Jean and Sean have your meats! Cut to order, and even kept chilled until the time is right to slice, Grub Grabs is the freshest in the land. Each piece of meat is cut with tender care and wrapped with enchanted paper to keep it as fresh as long as possible. Some can even travel between cities before needing to cook it. Betty's Bakery Got a sweet tooth you just need to satisfy? Come down to Betty's Bakery! As you can tell, she too likes to partake in the deliciousness that is her own baked goods. Revered across Eleutheria as one of the best bakers in the land, Betty can make anyone a believer in sweets. Black Garden Asylum In the deepest parts of Eleutheria, there is rumored to be a prison, run by the worst warden anyone has ever heard of. The High Night Considered one of the most plush taverns in Eleutheria, The High Night offers amazingly luxurious rooms for a decent price. Clean drinks and even cleaner washrooms, Ellis takes care of her patrons and makes sure they leave relaxed and refreshed. A Cup Above The Rest Eleutheria, the beautiful capitol of Simul. Full of shops with reputations of being the best. A Cup Above the Rest is no exception. High quality potions and concoctions await your shopping spree! Not a single complaint has been had about the shop nor the owner, Yohan. Menu Here

Library of Shit Updates Heading 2 Time to get in trouble! Father Time and his loot of Awesome ~~12/29 to Completion He sat upon his throne, watching the Citizens of Simul has he often did. Silent, brooding…. bored. The old man who had fancied himself a God had finally had enough boredom. It was time to… Mix things up. Achromas, the Time Wizard. Oh yes, a wizard who had studied the forbidden arts of Time Manipulation. An old man who had been personally removed from the mainland of Simul and chose to stick close just for the r ight time to, well, fuck some shit up. I mean, the dude is mad, right? And with things so peaceful, he thinks it’s time to fuck it up. Misery loves company. Now, one can not simply fuck shit up without some sort of incentive to make people want to fuck it up with him, riiiiiight? Right. What better of a way than to offer something in return for volunteers to his little party? Yes, indeed. The old man Achromas has put together a little prize for this occasion. What is this glorious item that could break the world (Or so he thinks so?)? A pendant. Keep reading, I swear, it gets more interesting. Achromas has set his sights on all of Simul. He has gone as far as hiring some less than tasteful individuals to spread word of this amazing item. They have been setting up posters and whispering into the ears of the common man, hoping the word will create more chaos than anything….. Who will join in to gain such an item? Rules -You can post no more than once per hour -You can have as many characters join in this event as you wish -You are allowed to drop in and drop out (Meaning you do not have to post every hour (As long as the Staff running Achromas has posted)) -Staff will ping those still involved in rotation when they are about to take longer than an hour to post (Sleep and such) -There is no post minimum to be upheld during this event -If you would like to take part in this event, react to the ping on the server (You will be pinged in the channel when it starts) -Location will be Tranquillum because Achromas likes the fucking trees. The Game -Every character will start out at the same spot -Every hour, you will roll (for each participating character) a D20 in the channel. That is how many spaces your character will move forward. -Once a character has reached 150 steps, they will reach the pendant on the pedestal. -Each turn the Staff takes, they will also roll a D20 against each character to see how far they will rewind in time (Spaces) -Staff will keep track of spaces each character has moved (If a mistake is made, please let us know) -Staff will update a chart on the Events page for all to see while the event runs. Prize -The prize is a pendant -Pendant has the following capabilities: ~Can be used once per battle scene (Or once per IRL month if used in non-combat scenes) ~Once activated, the character can rewind time in a 50 foot radius back up to three seconds ~Character will retain knowledge of the time differences ~Pendant in unbreakable ~Pendant is soulbound (Cannot be transferred to other characters without staff approval) Image Credit: https://www.metalpressions.com/ (Custom Design Option) Send Send Send Send No Updates Yet Most Recent Update Views Back to Top
