After the destruction of Temples of Unity, the King has called forth aide to come and rebuild. During 5-17-20 to 5-31-20, the Temples will be open for rebuilding roleplay! I will personally be reworking the custom art for the new temples, as well as finishing up our very own Pantheon for Simul. It will have descriptions, art, and the basics of the first religions within Simul. All religions will be welcome to be worshiped upon the island still, as many more temples will be available, but the Pantheon will only include the basic religions of Simul. Every village marked by this symbol is a village that is not big enough to be added as a webpage and remain unnamed. They have no significance to lore. The population will always be under 50 people. None will have a backstory, but can be used as a characters' home town. None will have their own significant lore. You can roleplay in the travel channels in one of these places if you so choose. The small villages can have taverns, pubs, lodges, farms, and small shops of insignificance.

Start Date: 3-29-20 Rejoice! After nearly a year of being open to the public, the city of Arcanus Aecor has decided to host a grand festival… The Festival of Unity Between Land and Sea!-a work in progress title, they aren’t used to coming up with these sorts of things, you know-and are inviting people from all across Simul to partake in it! There will be exotic seafoods, games, and… A giant sea serpent attack?! Three days into the festival, a sea serpent is going to assault the city, though the inhabitants don’t know it yet. Will any of the festival goers be brave enough to attempt to stop it…? The event will go for three days as a normal festival event before the attack commences. For the purpose of the festival, there will be areas that are drained of water via magic air bubbles so as to prevent all the food and items from getting spoiled by the water for the land goers. They even have waterproof to-go bags! The rules for the event and details of the reward and villain are below: ~This scene will be taking place in the channel for Arcanus Aecor. ~There will be no post order ~The "villain" will post twice a day. If you do not make it for one, you will be skipped. If you miss two, you will be skipped. Miss three and you will be removed from the event. ~There is no post minimum until the killing blow. ~First come first serve on hits. They will be counted in order. ~The "villain" will announce if it will take longer for them to post. ~Each participating character will start with a base health of 100 points. The sea serpent is over 300 feet long and is equipped with the following attacks: -Torrent Spew: he spews a miniature whirlpool at his enemies that will spin them about -Fart bubbles of doom: he turns around and spews stinky death bubbles that will make you wish you were dead but don’t do much otherwise -Ima Firing My Laser!: He fires a breath stream of hot, scalding water at his enemies -Chomp: The bastard simply bites down. When the quiet dwarves of Dun'Lown began their complaint, the King knew something was wrong. It started with a few trembles here and there. Nothing the good people of the dwarven city couldn't handle. Assuming it to be the natural shift of tectonic plates, they brushed it off as small quakes and nothing more. With such a fortress beneath them, there was no cause for concern...yet. Days went by, and the trembles became more and more hectic. Chips in the city walls. Rocks falling from the innards of the mountain. People injured by debris. It was time to ring the alarm. Riorji, the leader of Dun'Lorn, called for aide from the King, who in turn, sent out some of his scouts to find the source of the issue. Mages felt the last. Hunters examined the landscape. For a couple of weeks, they found absolutely nothing. Kiln, an elven explorer, was the unfortunate one to come across the ultimate discovery of the issue. By the time he had made it back to Eleutheria, his blonde hair had turned damn near translucent. The panicked man sputtered words of the great beast of the north. A completely black dragon, bigger than he had ever seen, making its way toward The Ros. The mountains had been damaged in its wake and only gnawed bones were left where larger creatures had tried to buck up to the massive monster. With the King's aide, a warning was sent in the form of a wanted 'poster' all across the great land of Simul. Event Starts 6/26 at 12 AM MT Meet Furvus Serpens. A large, obsidian dragon. Each character you have in the event (As many as you want) will be given 150 hit points at the beginning. The Temples of Unity, Concordia, Wingston, Skyhaven, Gao Shan and Cio have all opened their doors and taverns and inns to the wayward travelers for the hunting season. Many do not even expect pay! How lovely it is to see our kingdom come together in such a blessed way! Take this opportunity to do good as well. Hunt until you can hunt no longer. Dear Citizens of Simul, Yet another awful time in our great kingdom's history has just occurred. During the Festival of the Setting Sun, many of Simul's largest farming communities were attacked. Yet again, magical beings wielding what appeared to be fire type magic burned crops indiscriminately. Apparently the cities of Ferax Villum, Concordia, SkyHaven, Sudbury, Wingston, Dry Gulhc, and various smaller villages were met with groups of robed figures that flocked into the areas during the nightly festivities. Hundreds of acres of land and food crops have been burned beyond repair. What does this mean for the kingdom? This was the question on hundreds of thousands of minds this passed week. Ferren Drebek, the gracious man who has taken it upon himself to rule our lands until a new leader can be lifted, released a statement: “It is with a heavy heart that I address you all in such a manner. I am sure you have all heard the news by now. Our kingdom…has suffered a tremendous loss. The crops that normally sustain us through the long winter have been destroyed. Burned to a crisp alongside the brave men and women who tried to stop the inferno.  Their sacrifice ensured that everyone could gather and defeat our oldest of foes. The cause of the fires is still unknown but we believe it to be a series of horrible accidents. I would love nothing more than to believe that, but with witnesses coming forward, it has been apparent that the attacks were perpetrated by magic users. The best people we have are looking to find the cause of what caused this tragedy…”  “We can move on from this tragedy as one but I need the help of every Simulian. We do not have enough food for the winter. As of today, all food is to be brought here to Eleutheria so it can be rationed out appropriately. All are welcome to come and get your daily meals. Those of you traveling great distances will be allowed to get enough for a few days. Every month, we will be shipping out ration bundles to each city and community to sustain. All magical beings wanting their rations are required to provide their registrations. This is to keep us all safe and uphold peace of mind. We have also decided to place a special barrier around the capitol to help further protect the food we will all need to survive. It kills me to have to do this to you all. Rationing will leave us all hungry as we try our best to make it through these trying times. I encourage everyone to do what they can to provide for their families. It is my displeasure to bring the most current news to Simul. As much as I would love to not have to relay this information, it is my duty to keep you all informed and as safe as I can. With that, I must weave together the details of last night’s horrors.  Before the sun began to descend, something else fell upon our great kingdom. From what we can gather, the first attack was in Korrig. Despite the docks already having taken a major hit, it appears the assailants decided they needed to come back to finish the job. Unfortunately, the structures are a complete loss. Even worse, it has been reported that more than 20 people are still missing while the casualties are nearing the same number and injuries have topped 33.  From what we can tell, the next attack was shortly thereafter in Timberholde. Every city entrance was reportedly blown apart and virtually sealing the city inside of itself. This also included grave damage to the newest addition, the train. The station and surrounding area have been destroyed beyond repair. Casualties have reached 67, more than 40 have been injured and another 17 are still missing.  Another attack mere hours after came in the form of another explosion. This one took out the entirety of the bridge from the mainland to Curet Insula. No fatalities have been reported, but it has only been a few hours since receiving the news and searches are still in effect.  I wish I could say that I have reported everything. I wish I could tell you great people that we can recover from this. I wish I had the magic words…something to give you all hope. Unfortunately, with this last piece of information I have to bear, I cannot fathom how we are to unite. At just past 8 last night, Eleutheria and our royal family was attacked. According to the guards and surviving staff, nothing was out of the ordinary until they heard Hilda scream and then what sounded like a man being tortured. This man is assumed to be King Alfred. Apparently, shortly after, a fire broke out, causing many of the people who also lived in the castle to flee with little to nothing to the second story of the city. Still, 13 are missing and feared dead. The royal family was never located, even after the fire was quelled.  There was but a note left at the scene. This note had a confession and confessions to more crimes that were, unfortunately, confirmed this morning. The entire Fortescue bloodline has been murdered. Sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, grandfathers and grandmothers… all of the bloodline has been taken from Simul in the most horrid of ways. I cannot even begin to write what information I have been given.  Simul…please. PLEASE be safe. I know we are now living in a very uncertain time. I have faith that we will be okay.
