- Time to Get in Trouble! In Archived/Retired·December 16, 2020Father Time and his loot of Awesome ~~12/29 to Completion He sat upon his throne, watching the Citizens of Simul has he often did. Silent, brooding…. bored. The old man who had fancied himself a God had finally had enough boredom. It was time to… Mix things up. Achromas, the Time Wizard. Oh yes, a wizard who had studied the forbidden arts of Time Manipulation. An old man who had been personally removed from the mainland of Simul and chose to stick close just for the right time to, well, fuck some shit up. I mean, the dude is mad, right? And with things so peaceful, he thinks it’s time to fuck it up. Misery loves company. Now, one can not simply fuck shit up without some sort of incentive to make people want to fuck it up with him, riiiiiight? Right. What better of a way than to offer something in return for volunteers to his little party? Yes, indeed. The old man Achromas has put together a little prize for this occasion. What is this glorious item that could break the world (Or so he thinks so?)? A pendant. Keep reading, I swear, it gets more interesting. Achromas has set his sights on all of Simul. He has gone as far as hiring some less than tasteful individuals to spread word of this amazing item. They have been setting up posters and whispering into the ears of the common man, hoping the word will create more chaos than anything….. Who will join in to gain such an item? Rules -You can post no more than once per hour -You can have as many characters join in this event as you wish -You are allowed to drop in and drop out (Meaning you do not have to post every hour (As long as the Staff running Achromas has posted)) -Staff will ping those still involved in rotation when they are about to take longer than an hour to post (Sleep and such) -There is no post minimum to be upheld during this event -If you would like to take part in this event, react to the ping on the server (You will be pinged in the channel when it starts) -Location will be Tranquillum because Achromas likes the fucking trees. The Game -Every character will start out at the same spot -Every hour, you will roll (for each participating character) a D20 in the channel. That is how many spaces your character will move forward. -Once a character has reached 150 steps, they will reach the pendant on the pedestal. -Each turn the Staff takes, they will also roll a D20 against each character to see how far they will rewind in time (Spaces) -Staff will keep track of spaces each character has moved (If a mistake is made, please let us know) -Staff will update a chart on the Events page for all to see while the event runs. Prize -The prize is a pendant -Pendant has the following capabilities: ~Can be used once per battle scene (Or once per IRL month if used in non-combat scenes) ~Once activated, the character can rewind time in a 50 foot radius back up to three seconds ~Character will retain knowledge of the time differences ~Pendant in unbreakable ~Pendant is soulbound (Cannot be transferred to other characters without staff approval) Image Credit: https://www.metalpressions.com/ (Custom Design Option)0046

Taking to the mountain ranges and far forests, it is usually the goal of the hunters to reduce the populations of larger beasts. Though, the beasts replenish their numbers come spring mating season. - Calendar And HolidaysIn Lore StuffJanuary 3, 2019Messis Festival of The Setting Sun Date: Messis 1st Yet again, harvest envelopes Simul land. This harvest is a big deal for those who call this kingdom home. For this is the final harvest of the year before Mother Nature coats the lush earth in white. With abundance of goods, the farmers and merchants from all over once again travel to the city of Timberholde for trade. The turn out is usually much larger than the Festival of The Scorching Sun, as it is the last opportunity to get fresh produce and meats and the like before the cold hits. There is always a celebration during the nights, as the festival can last upwards of a month, leaving the people of Timberholde to clean up. They don't mind though, as they are proud of their city.00
- Calendar And HolidaysIn Lore StuffJanuary 3, 2019Ceres Canto Mortuus Date: Ceres 13th Once per year, on the 13th of Ceres, the dead are allowed to come from their confines of Soulstagne. The barrier surrounding the City of The Dead melts away, allowing those residing within to walk upon the land of the living. In turn, those living can enter the grounds of Soulstagne. "Everyone who enters must wear a mask. For the dead can become envious of the living and become vengeful in the night of celebration." This is an ancient tradition, passed down by the first living person to enter the city of the damned. Over time, it has transformed into something a bit more than just masks. Some will even dress up wholly in costumes, and come to bear gifts. Some Simulians even celebrate the tradition outside of Soulstagne. Dressing up and celebrating the dead from the comfort of their homes. Those who know and celebrate this bittersweet occasion keep well note of time, for as soon as one week is up, those who are dead must return, or have their soul banished to an afterlife unsavory. Those who still have a heartbeat must leave the grounds in order to keep it. PERMANENT LORE EVENT00
