- Flora and MolaIn Lore StuffOctober 18, 2023VitaSubmitted by @Lyanna Legend #stone #plant #expensive #farm As dark as the cloudiest night, Vita stones are not only enchanting, but highly sought. These stones feel, weigh, and even look very similar to Obsidian, but they are much smoother than their cousins. With a name deriving from the Latin word for "Life", Vita stones were given their namesake due to their odd power. This power, still questioned to this day, gives this stone the ability to culture and nourish plant life on its surface. They are in the medium when it comes to rarity, but still sold in shops for the home-gardener for a hefty price in bulk.00
- Flora and MolaIn Lore StuffSeptember 30, 2023Lover's BindingSubmitted by @Lyanna Legend #stone #gem #love #potion This purple hued stone is a very popular ore used in many 'love' type potions and rituals. Though it looks very close to many other gems, the black strip embed throughout helps to differentiate. It is said to hold the aura of love and passion, but this is only when crushed and used in other mixtures. Alone, the gem-like stone is inert. Fairly inexpensive at most shops, but easily found buried in fertile soils of meadow type areas.00
- Flora and MolaIn Lore StuffMay 8, 2023LuquidiumSubmitted by @Lyanna Legend #stone #water #illuminate #blue If you are lucky enough to find of of these stones, often found near or in water bodies, you have found a stone that produces just that: Water. Luquidum is rare, but very easy to spot. Rubbing the smooth and glossy stone will cause it to leak enough water to quench one's thirst and does not seem to run out. Very rarely sold in shops with a price tag to match. Stone will shrink over time until it eventually turns to blue-ish sand and stops producing water.00
- Flora and MolaIn Lore StuffAugust 8, 2024Silex StoneSubmitted by @Lyanna Legend #stone #flint #common #fireaid #weaponmaking #toolmaking This stone is closely related to flint, but much harder on scale. Can be sharpened more so than Obsidian, but again, much harder to break. The dark blue color and rough edges make this common stone easy to spot even embedded in the soil. Most keep one or more on hand when traveling for the spark it makes when hit against other hard objects (Fire making). Used in many stone tools and even mixed with certain metals for weapons.00
- Flora and MolaIn Lore StuffAugust 7, 2024Ligo FoliumSubmitted by @Lyanna Legend #flower #edible #potions #salves Yet another largely common growth in Simul, Ligo is used mostly as a binding agent in various potions, salves and powders. Grown mostly domestically, Ligo can still often be found in meadow like areas in large patches much like moss or crab grass. Has little to no taste. Usually dried and crushed before use, leaves and flowers together. Flowers come in various colors including purple, blue, yellow, pink, etc.00
- Flora and MolaIn Lore StuffJanuary 13, 2024Lover's BenchSubmitted by @Lyanna Legend #tree #love #expensive #rare #magical #immortal The lover's bench was named in this way due to the heavy bend in its trunk that makes it resemble a bench. As a matter of fact, that is what these trees are often used for; sitting. They are very popular among young lovers, gifted to new homes for them to use as a perch for viewing their gardens. The tree is not something naturally occurring and must be bought from certain shops that deal in magical plants. This certainly comes with a rather large price tag, but those who have these tree types say every penny spent is worth it. These trees live as long as the last living original owner. The leaves are as soft as mink and do not shed in the colder season. Unless felled, the Lover's bench trees are said to be 'immortal'.00
- Flora and MolaIn Lore StuffAugust 7, 2024Sapidus CapsSubmitted by @Lyanna Legend #mushroom #saltandpepper #seasings #edible #common This incredible common mushroom can be found not only in personal gardens, but with massive ease in the wild. Sapidus Caps are incredibly hearty and can grow in nearly all fertile soil throughout the year. Alongside Salt and Pepper as basic seasonings, the tops of these mushrooms are dried, crushed and placed inside of shakers found in most eateries. Holds a very savory flavor akin to salt and garlic.00
- Flora and MolaIn Lore StuffMay 2, 2023Flamma FungusSubmitted by @Lyanna Legend #mushroom #fungus #heat #fire #edible This particular fungus seems to be fairly popularly grown in backyard gardens. Found randomly, singularly in shaded forest areas. Its use is rather simple being it produces heat. With a tap of the bulbus like head of the green fungus, and after given nearly 30 seconds, Flamma's glowing head will produce enough heat to spark tinder. These 'plants' will not grow larger than three inches tall and even less wide. Once cut, they become useless, still edible with little nutritional value or flavor.00
- Flora and MolaIn Lore StuffOctober 24, 2023CloverSubmitted by @Lyanna Legend #clover #flower #groundcover Clovers are a beautiful addition to any garden. Being very small, many nature-minded people use clover for yard ground coverage instead of manicured grass in order to maintain a diverse biome. Besides, the four leafed clovers are said to bring good luck! During warmer weather, clover patches will produce small flowers in various bright colors, adding to the aesthetic. Clover is also very nutritious for livestock and some like to add this plant to hot beverages for its nutritional values and aroma.00
- Flora and MolaIn Lore StuffAugust 8, 2024Salt SpireSubmitted by @Lyanna Legend #stone #mineral #salt #cheap #common #health Found near any salt water source, Salt Spires are a hybrid between salt and quartz. Do not be mistaken, Spires can be consumed given enough effort to grind to dust, but contain far more salt content than normal table salt. A dab will do ya. They are also a fairly common ingredient in health potions and are used widely in many spa treatments for skin health. This 'gem' comes at rock bottom pricing in most general stores, shops and vendors for those who would rather just buy.00
- Flora and MolaIn Lore StuffAugust 8, 2024Weeping FrostSubmitted by @Lyanna Legend #tree #weeping #willow #ice #brittle #wintergrown The Weeping Frost has gained its name due to its incredibly cold temperature. That is not its only unique feature. This tree is rumored to be made purely of ice, though it can be cut down and produces actual wood. The leaves are brittle, breaking with any warm touch. Weeping Frost trees only grow in the colder months. It can grow from a seedling into a full tree of fifteen feet in less than four months. However, once the temp outside reaches spring, they melt into nothingness like ice.00
- Flora and MolaIn Lore StuffAugust 8, 2024MutanurSubmitted by @Lyanna Legend #stone #ooze #melting #decor #common This green and purple spotted stone is easily spotted, yet, hard to find. Simul's history claims this stone was highly sought for its shifting purposes. Mutantur can 'melt' when introduced to extreme heat (500 F/260 C). Many older buildings were made with this stone, but it was discovered quickly that their lifespan after being subjected to such heat caused the integrity to suffer. They do make beautiful decoration with such unique coloring.00
