- Arcanus Aecor | Kingdom of Simul
Arcanus Aecor Long ago, when Simul was yet to become a kingdom, there was a city hidden in the depths of the ocean. The people, unable to breathe air, stayed in their watery home, hoping to find a way to come to the surface and colonize. Thousands of years passed with no progress until the day of the earth quake. The portal they had been working on for so long sunk into the abyss... Until recently. A new quake of destruction was anything but, leading to the portal the people had completed to resurfaced on the southern coast. Passing through allows the people to breathe air or breathe water, depending on the direction. Arcanus Aecor is home to many water dwelling species and humanoids, so be prepared to witness gills galore! The portal sits on the southern coast, and upon entering, will transport you to a wondrous city many miles out into the ocean. Year Incorporated: 102 Population: Approximately 10,000 Human: 50% Elven: 22% Dwarven: 1% Other: 27% Magically Inclined: Approximately 20% Updates Seawise Down at Seawise, Ervin will serve you with a smile. The only one allowed to be weird is Ervin. The restaurant itself is not submerged, allowing for the food to not be soggy. Ore Else Ever seen a dragon swim? With special skills and a little magic, she is the only blacksmith within Arcanus Aecor. She can smelt just about any melee weapon one can think of and even imbue it with an element of fire. The Boiling Sea Toward the center of the city, you will find the best spot for rest and relaxation. Well...and booze too. Even the owner, Kai, likes to partake. Being a water sprite in a human sized body has made him forget that alcohol is not friendly to his kind. As long as you can get him off the counter, you will be served some of the best drinks of your life. The Hungry Duck Looking for some amazing seafood cuts? Or even just regular farm meats? Though his largest section has to do with the romances, he has also collected many other types of books. Just gotta look to see if he has what you need! No, the library is not full of water. The building itself is enchanted to protect the books! The Torpedough Yet another shop inside of Arcanus Aecor that is enchanted to be without water. Silence befell the area for a few days before the eruption of the massive Tree of Life shook the citizens of the nature bound city. Though they were shaken, it was quick for them to realize what a gift they had been bestowed. Send Send Send Send No Updates Yet Most Recent Update None yet Views Back to Top
- Southern Coast | Kingdom of Simul
Southern Coast Starting at the swamp lands of Yearning Mire and ending east of Korrig Harbor City lays the Southern Coast. Though the outer edges of the coast line are near sea level, and the majority between, there are small cliffs here and there peppered throughout. The ground is uneven, but gives amazing sights to behold. Most of the line is covered in greenery and tall trees, shading from the unforgiving weather. Updates

Library of Shit Category Simul Quarterly Issue 3 (January 2, 2024) Simul Quarterly Issue 3 (January 2, 2024) Did ya miss me? I bet you did. But have no fear, as it is I, Flynn, back at it again with some Simul News! I just wish it was all good news. It seems there have been some havoc among our citizens. I have done my best to keep you all updated as news reaches my desk here at Coexisting Connections, but I am only one 'person'. I can only do so much. I do appreciate your trust in me, however, and I will continue to do my best! With the unfortunate breaking news stories, it seems that a lot of Simul citizens have been looking down upon those of us who are magic users. Can we really blame them? As 'magical' as this land is, we have always had that tiny line of...suspicion when it comes to the supernatural. I had done my own digging, attempting to find who or what is causing such chaos. I just can't. This will not stop me from trying! We all deserve answers! As much as I could ramble all day about the awful happenings in the dark, I think it's time for a lighter subject. It's finally a new year! You know what that means? Yet another time for us to unite and become one. Simul;s foundation has always been unification against all odds. The whisperings on the winds tell me that is exactly what you good people plan on doing. So, hug your loved ones, share your wealth, and send positive energy out into the world. This year will be Simul's best yet! Oh! Speaking of! One last note before I leave you. A local nobel has decided to be a sort of 'Secret Saint'. Unfortunately, to keep their identity hidden, they haven't had a moment to try and recruit for this special gift. So, I, Flynn, promised to get the word out! Take a gander at the letter below. So, if it is not clear enough here, if you know someone deserving of an all expenses paid home, please write us a letter on Simul Social, or through our mail system, and tag Coexisting Connections, telling us who and why! The Secret Saint will announce the lucky person/family in three days from today! As always, with love, Flynn. Send Send Send Send No Updates Yet Most Recent Update None yet Views Back to Top
- Occultatum Terra | Kingdom of Simul
Library of Shit Category Occultatum Terra Occultatum Terra Year 954 Month of Frigus A large earthquake buried this beautiful city. Due to the portal being buried above surface and no other way to make it to the top, the people of Occultatum Terra were unable to repair it. Making due with the beautiful bounty of the inner earth around them, they continued to live, cut off from the world above. Year 10,012 Month of Ceres Yet another massive earthquake has hit Simul. Two portals were uncovered from thousands of years of land mass motion. After discovery, it was found that there was a massive underground city that had yet to see the light of day in hundreds of generations. The people are welcoming, but lack a lot of social skills. Bruma 20th, 10,018 Read the entirety in Simul Quarterly "Portals to the 'outside' cities will be cut off from the mainland, effective immediately. Due to the lack of cooperation from Arcanus Aecor, Occultatem Terra, and Astu Aether, the capitol has decided, for the moment, that it is best to shut the portals down. Any and all rations that are needed for survival will be transported by the King's Guard once per month until each city can contain itself or they comply. This also stands for the islands of Curet Insula. Since the obliteration of the bridge that connected both lands, it has been decided to keep the severance until further notice." - Astu Aether | Kingdom of Simul
A fairly recent city located just below the southern coast, Astu Aether has come from a different realm, yet, not unlike Simul. (High Fantasy Texted Based Roleplay. Join us on Discord today!) Astu Aether A fairly recent city located just below the southern coast, Astu Aether has come from a different realm, yet, not unlike Simul. Their technology is the relatively the same, as well as their welcoming hospitality. It is set up a bit differently than most would think considering the why they had to drop into our realm. Becoming their own sort of 'kingdom', Astu Aether has everything from farm land to multiple market districts. There is no running 'theme' amongst the architecture. When one doesn't know where they will end up, one makes due with the land they have. Wanting to welcome Simulians with open arms, the mages of Astu Aether have installed a rather convenient way of traveling to and from the city hovering above the water to the south. There is a airship dock, but there has also been s massive tree has been planted which holds enough magic to teleport upwards of fifty people at a time to or from the city itself. An identical one sits right near the middle of their great city. Year Incorporated: 10,011 Population: Approximately 10,000 Human: 70% Elven: 17% Dwarven: 10% Other: 3% Magically Inclined: Approximately 47% Updates Nivisa Toward the center the the city, there is a massive school dedicated to magic teachings. Much like the Snow Elves that now reside in Concordia, this school is surrounded in a barrier of cooler weather as most of the elves there are indeed Snow Elves. Even the headmistress, Omylia Arastina is one of the friendliest woman you will meet. You will still find all sorts of teachers and races within, however, as Astu Aether comes from a realm where coexisting was relished. From school grades to academy level teachings, anyone is welcome to attend Nivisa! Ice Winds Welcome to Ice Winds! Run by Astu Aether's most innocent elf, Sorisana Daera. Despite her young age and chipper attitude, this woman can drink anyone under the table. All you have to do is challenge her. Besides drinking the days away as if the ale was water, Sori likes to dance around and keep spirits high. Never a frown found in her tavern, Sori can cheer up even the hardest of hearts with a giggle The Eternal Flame Fresh out of a different realm, Jendrick brings the oddly made weapons he was taught to make. With decades of experience, he can even imbue certain blades with elemental abilities. Nothing crazy, mind you, but they can definitely add an extra sting! Harmony Medical Astu Aether is host to a rather large medical facility. Nearly 50 beds for those who ail, the top doctor does her best to treat each patient with the utmost care. Her name is Harmony, the facility named directly after her. She was the one who funded the entire thing, after all. From primitive to magical healing, any and all are welcome to be seen. Potions and Lotions Potions and Lotions has just that. Potions and Lotions and so much more! Edea, the elven owner, has taken great pride in supplying the best of the best when it comes to her concoctions. With the power of prayer, some believe she has been gifted by the gods. Menu Here First Story Mireya has a reputation inside of Astu Aether. One can tell just by looking at her. The story goes: Mireya was blessed by the goddess of moonlight herself with knowledge of the heavens. As a matter of fact, she has written a good portion of the books one will find in her library. She specializes in magical arts, but has amassed thousands of books on all sorts of subjects. You just have to have the patience to look through her collection! The Swinery Roman may love his bacon, but that is not the only meat he is packing. From critters such as rabbit and squirrel to larger beasts like cows and buffalo, you can find any cut of meat you can image. Wrapped up tight and either enchanted to stay cool for a couple of days or salted, the meat will last the trip home too! Embers Embers is a delectable restaurant located within the magical city of Astu Aether. Owned by Sharri, a young woman who has spent most of her life perfecting her art. From Dwarven cuisine to Demonic Delicacies, she can serve up just about anything in a haste.

Library of Shit Archived/Retired Festivus Volatus Festivus Volatus Start Date and Time: 8-4-20 at 12 AM MT A rumor has been spreading among those who love to travel the the Great city of Astu Aether . What is this rumor? Well, I will tell you. Sheesh. Be patient. It appears that a large creature has been living at the top of the tree that teleports people to and from the sky city, which has disrupted the flow of magic. Without a way to transport between Simul's main land and the city, a lot of people have been stuck on either side. With posters being handed out throughout the city itself and Simul below, people have begun to gather, trying to get the great beast to come down. It wasn't until a street vendor was cooking some delectable whatever the fuck that the creature made a move. Citizens were quite surprised to see that it was a very large griffin! White feathers and a pristine beak, but rather lacking in muscle as it obviously hadn't eaten in quite some time. The vendor did what he could to coax the beast out, only to be denied such.
