- Dun'lorn | Kingdom of Simul
Dun'Lorn Pray to the honored ancestors for strength, for courage, and for honor! And pray to the Stone when you fall into its cold, rough embrace, that you may stand with our ancestors some day. The dwarven Fortress city of Dun’lorn is one of strange origin and survival. When one speaks of the Dwarves that inhabit the city, only two thoughts would ever come to mind about the groundlings that dwell in the Aldermen Mountains. The first being a story of desperate survival where once a great under-empire once stood beneath the continent of Simul and how city by city, battle by battle, they lost their footholds in the undergrounds and were reduced to something almost akin to the dying grasp of a hopeless soul. The second story being told of a stalwart will to not go quietly into night, an igniting of the fighting spirit of every Dwarf, no matter where they come from being Durgar, or Mountain Dwarf, all standing side by side to defend and reclaim their lost glory. No matter which story you believe, there is to be said that each and every dwarf would die to defend their home. Whether or not one story is true over the other is up to philosophical debate amongst the children of the stone. But one thing's for certain; Every single Dwarf, no matter how tall, no matter from what noble family, no matter what peril they face... all will defend the city to their dying breath. In the last hundred years the last Dwarven Deep Lord the honored Hortigere Cragshaper has forged an alliance with the Kingdom of Simul in a desperate attempt to save the city from starvation thus forging a vassalage with the old King of Simul which the agreement still persist to this day with ruler-ship of Riorji Cragshaper the newest Deep Lord of Dun’lorn. She offers many types of potions and salves, mostly for well being. Come and take a look. She might have what you need. Menu Here Singuroz Stories Velmraela's collection of books is the largest inside of Dun'Lorn. Mostly dwarven, she has the capability to have them translated just for you! There are also ancient texts on the history of Simul before the civilization went underground. Great for those studying their historical roots. The Clumsy Crab Down at The Clumsy Crab, Reindala or one of her beautiful dwarven bar maids will serve you with the largest of smiles. Not just ale and spirits, these ladies can cook up a mean steak! Dwed Healrumm She may not look like much but Nakeani is one of the most talented healers Dun'Lorn has to offer. She only has light magical abilities, but she is highly skilled with primitive measures. She has the room and the will to treat nearly twenty people at a time. Don't shy away if you need treatment! Alkorhilal o Brukag Don't let the young and innocent face of this dwarf fool you. Jaderina is a very old and very experienced chef and works hard to satisfy every customer that walks into her eatery. She mostly serves the best of the best of dwarven cuisine, but has been known to add some human flare. Svot Spot After decades of serving for the Dun'Lorn guard, Douthak decided he wanted to try something completely different. That is how Svot Spot was born. Not only is he handy with a sword, but Douthak can throw down some amazing pastries and cakes. While visiting the secluded city, don't forget to drop by and try it out! Karaad Ord He may be a dwarf without a beard, but Hirdren can craft with the best of them. It really is his saving grace from the constant reminder that he has no facial hair..like a man. Dwarves are known for their amazing metal work, and none within the walls of Dun'Lorn have been able to craft as well as Hidren. Fift Smarag Dun'Lorn may be under the mountains, but that does not stop them from having some of the most tender and fresh meat that you can find in Simul. Helaic, the owner, specializes in dragon meat, believe it or not. His sons and he will hunt for them near the entrance of their fortress city and prepare them for sale. Prices are negotiable, but don't come looking for a steal.
- Temples of Unity | Kingdom of Simul
Temples of Unity Simul: Latin for Coexist. That is an ideal the royal family, for generations, has upheld. After the War of Brothers, the Temples of Unity were established. An island comprised of temples and shrines of many different worships, where the masses could worship and praise as one. The main and largest of the buildings house the main religions of Simul, however, there are many smaller establishments built by others who have come to the kingdom in order to share their own religions. One could easily assume there is a temple, church, or some sort of place of worship for nearly any religion. On the northern island, anyone can come and go as they please. Stay as long as you like. There is a massive bridge from the mainland to the island to make getting on the island easier for visitors. It is a long walk, but most opt to do it just to witness the ocean and mountains in contrast. Nearly 500 different priests, priestesses, monks, fathers and sisters and healers call the island home. - Oak Silva | Kingdom of Simul
Oak Silva Deep within the Southern Forest lies a hidden gem. Oak Silva is a village among the trees! Generally a very quiet place despite being a few day's travel or so to Vex, Oak Silva is rather serene and silent. Many magical beings such as Fae, Changelings, and Mages have made this city their home. Home to many, just as the rest of Simul, you can find peace and welcoming arms. Or wings. Or fuzzy paws. In other words, be prepared to see all sorts of forest dwelling creatures and people here. None are turned away. Unless, of course, they are trouble makers. The city's Constables make sure that the unwalled city stays a safe haven for those within. Year Incorporated: 272 Population: Approximately 16,000 Human: 45% Elven: 22% Dwarven: 10% Other: 23% Magically Inclined: Approximately 36% Updates Book Mark The Book Mark, located in the beautiful forest City of Oak Silva, holds some of the oldest mage written literature. It is not exactly the biggest library in Simul, but it hold just as much valuable information, if not more, than the rest. Most magic wielders tend to make their way toward Sudbury, but Oak Silva is a treasure trove of information! The main owner, Tasach, a high elf, is always willing to help you find just what you are looking for. Sarah The Sage One of the oldest known Sages in Simul, Sarah has a reputation of also being one of the best healers and midwives in the land. She is highly sought after for expectant mothers and fathers. Especially since her mortality rate is nearly zero. Be prepared when walking into Sarah's home. It is MUCH bigger and regal on the inside. The Well The Well is a jail maintained by the denizens of Oak Silva that is named for the fact that it is underground, accessed through a well-like staircase in the middle of town. It is here where the occasional forest creature that gets too rough and tumbly is kept, as well as visitors to the town who violate the local laws. The entrance to the Well is guarded day and night by powerful forest creatures. The jailer is a mysterious elf named Seth the Silent, who often captures criminals himself to lock them up, said to be quiet as a mouse. Fairly Famished A tavern run by one of the local fairies, Fairly Famished is a quiet little tavern with nature-themed decoration. With the help of her bear bouncer Borgis, the owner, Salindria, makes sure everyone coming in leaves with a full belly and a happy heart. It is rumored that she often sprinkles fairy dust into the ale she provides for some extra kick. Beararmed Butchers A butcher shop run by a bear of a man, rumored to be half-bear, even, named Oward the Strong. He provides quality meat and even helps out with heavy lifting around time on his time off. Much of the meat he provides comes from some of the bigger, scarier beasts from around the woods, so his meat is often tough, chewy, and carries the taste of something well-earned. Enchanting Elixers He may be old, but Whulgac is a very experienced potion maker. Often mistaken for a full blown alchemist due to his wide array of concoctions, he never corrects these assumptions. Enchanting Elixers is the most popular potion shop in all of Oak Silva, and for good reason. Menu Here Fairy Grotto The Fairy Grotto is a small park located in Oak Silva. It is so-named for the fact that it is home to several fairy glades, surrounded by dense trees despite the small space. Fairies, as one might expect, often gather here, as do people performing rituals to honor nature. One such owns the gardens. Her name is Kenzie and she is a normal human sized fairy. Ask her about her wings sometime. She could go on for HOURS. Milly's Oven A bakery run by a woman named Milly. She is known for being a kind and endearing woman, a mother of three and a widow. She employs small animals to help her bake, though makes sure that everything still remains sanitary. Smelting Pot A blacksmith based in a tree? Absolutely! Nothing will stop this crazy little elf from making the best made weapons and armor in Oak Silva. You could tell by just looking at her that Elbareth is a bubbly and quite insane little woman. She can still make you a sword with the best of them! All in the forge she has inside of her tree home. Two rooms for twice the work. If you can't find her in one, you will definitely find her in the other. Buzzing around like a fairy on caffeine. Don't worry, it has only caught fire once....

- Occultatum Terra | Kingdom of Simul
Occultatum Terra Hidden beneath the large forest portal lies one of the most beautiful cities Simul has to offer. This is Occultatum Terra; a completely underground city, fairly newly discovered by the people of Simul. Home to druid elves, Occultatum Terra is lush with green and blue despite the lack of natural sun. The city is also bright and welcoming (given you are not a dwarf). Having been buried beneath the lands of Simul for thousands of years, the people of Occultatum Terra are quite oblivious to the ongoings. This is not to say they are not willing to learn. The earth shattering quake that revealed their hidden portal has freed them from their prison. Now they open their doors to almost any traveler curious to their people. Year Incorporated: 101 Population: Approximately 21,000 Human: 23% Elven: 68% Dwarven: 1% Other: 8% Magically Inclined: Approximately 71% Updates Lifehome An academy that is very important to the people of the city. It is where many of their druids come to train, and those from outside of the city seeking druidic training have been welcomed by the academy’s dean, Lavisian Arland. It is even considered a sacred place, a rite of passage for young druids being to graduate from this place. It also functions as a church of sorts for the various local elven faiths. Lily Leaf Lovers A tavern run by an elf named Garrion Men’Taris, Lily-Leaf Lover’s is a place where people come to indulge in other’s company, not just have a quick drink. It has a serene atmosphere, and the owner sells tea as well as alcohol. Rest and Bounty A restaurant that, as of recent, has also expanded to serve as a hotel for those coming to Occultatum Terra for simple tourism, the rooms magically soundproofed so the restaurant half of the building doesn’t irritate people looking for simple rest. It is run by a man named Rusty, who claims to have gotten his name from how often he gets tetanus. Don’t worry, though, the food is perfectly safe, and all-natural too! Bella's Baked Goods A bakery run by a human woman named Bella, who recently moved to Occultatum Terra. She has quickly become as enthralled with the natural world as the druidic elves who surround her, and has taken to growing her own ingredients when it comes to what she uses in her baked goods that can be grown. Nature Provides A place of healing run by an elven shaman named Malissia of the Grove, who does not come from Occultatum Terra but fits in just as well as any other elf. She uses the gifts provided to her by nature, natural and magical, to heal others. She has a love for life and is the type of person who would never hurt so much as a fly. Homegrown Books A bookstore that “grows” its own books, the owner owning a small plot of wood behind the store from which they harvest the material they use for their paper. They even bind the books specially with the wood from these trees, cured through some strange means so it never rots. It is run by an elven woman who only goes by Quiet. She sees no need to speak unless it is related to her books. The Great Garden A holy place for the elves of Occultatum Terra, where they believe the spirits of nature and the souls of dead animals roam, the Great Garden is a garden surely deserving of its title. It is massive, practically a small forest within the city, where the plants grow taller than most men are tall. Magic pervades this garden thoroughly, and most who visit it come to find themselves greatly relaxed and enthralled. The caretaker, Triduc, makes sure the garden stays clean and beautiful. Magical Mixtures A potion shop where you can find most any potion you could possibly think of. Healing potions? They have it. A potion to ward off illness? Also in stock. Explosive fire potions? Also in… Stock? The shop is run by a woman named Belma, who is concerningly concerned with things that go boom. She is known for the loud noises that tend to come from her shop along with the unusual amounts of smoke her chimney expels. But, her little experiments are tolerated, for there is no better place to find a massive variety of potions than Magical Mixtures. Menu Here Barion's Cleaver A butcher’s shop run by a big, burly elf (Well...big for an elf) who goes only by Barion. He refuses to cut any meat he does not kill himself, believing that doing anything else would be dishonoring the spirits of the animals he sells the meat of. Sunforged Swords A blacksmith’s that specializes in odd weapons forged with druidic magic, often blessed by the sun or nature itself by the blacksmith who runs it, Mil’andra Venian. She takes great pride in the weapons she makes, and many of her goods go to supply the city guardsmen.

The owner, Sharon, makes sure every shelf is always stocked. As a matter of fact, she loves books so much that she has an entire cellar in the building dedicated to reprints and extras just in case one goes missing. Fowl Play Fowl Play is a butcher’s shop run by a man named Fen, who really enjoys a good pheasant. He catches a lot of what he sells himself, in fact, and you’ll find no better place to get a slice of turkey or chicken than here. - The Ros | Kingdom of Simul
The mysterious springs of The Ros. Many seek it out...and many are disappointed. (High Fantasy Texted Based Roleplay. Join us on Discord today!) The Ros The mysterious springs of The Ros. Many seek it out...and many are disappointed. "Curative waters." or "Strange Pools." they have been called. It is a game of chance when dipping into the warm water that makes up the many springs. There are a total of seven. No one quite knows which does what. It has been said and shown that one day, the waters of one who had healed someone of an ailment would then mentally torture the next. Or perhaps a pool that scared away the fish swimming inside could then stitch wounds mere minutes later. It all depends on the luck of the roll....quite literally. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Should your character seek out these waters, they must choose one spring at a time. Each time the waters are tested (Which must be with a part of their body), you must roll 1d20. 1-5 Negative Effect Should you roll for negative, your character will suffer the condition known throughout Simul as "Untrust". Your character will become overly paranoid at everything. They may not even try and use another pool of water to cure their original issue. They will not trust even their lover(s). This may cause them to run from anything and anyone at any given time. Stress can cause hair loss and a shrill voice at all times. This will last two weeks IC. These effects affect the entire body, whether or not you completely submerged. 6-14 Normal Waters These will do nothing other than relax you in the radiating heat. 15-20 Complete Cure Any minor issue your character ails from will be cured. Scars, disease, sanity loss, sleep deprivation, minor curses and hexes, flesh wounds, etc. More severe ailments such as cancers, disfigurement, limb loss, bone breaks etc will not be fixed. The waters can only be used once per day. Meaning, if you touch one spring, whether or not it is your whole body, you will gain nothing from any of the others until the next day. By that time...your character may be dead already. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Don't let the pools frighten you! The Ros is also one of the most beautiful natural landscapes Simul has to offer. Despite the rumors and even evidence, this has not stopped the most seasoned of travelers from making the hike and resting among the cabins. Updates

Though the outer edges of the coast line are near sea level, and the majority between, there are small cliffs here and there peppered throughout. The ground is uneven, but gives amazing sights to behold. Most of the line is covered in greenery and tall trees, shading from the unforgiving weather. Updates
